Is there a way to add create food and drink to wizard?

Weird question. I know. Still, I'd like to make this happen. Just not sure how.

I know of no official way to add create food and drink to your spell list. It seems to be taboo for many games, not just pathfinder.

I would allow spell research to research it, as a house rule. I might increase the difficulty though. Can't make it too easy to poach spells.

The spell sage wizard archetype can, a few times a day, cast spells from the bard, cleric, and druid spell lists. It costs 2 spell slots of the same level and takes extra time to cast. These spells are cast spontaneously using the spell list of 3 spell casting classes, so you can be prepared for a lot of things.

Create Water
Purify Food & Water

I know that's not what you asked, but it's a related option.

An option similar to the Spell Sage would be the Loremaster prestige class (a single level suffices), with the Secret of Magical Discipline feat at character level 9.

Stone to Flesh can provide food as long as there is stone around, which is likely to be most of the time. OTOH, it is a sixth-level spell so the OP's wizard is gonna have to wait five four levels, and it does not help with the water.

At 9th level you could use the Faith Magic arcane discovery to learn create food & drink.

Probably a wise idea. Not only do spell sages don't get bonus spells, but their special ability uses spell slots up faster. Also over kill if your needs can be met by a magic item.
