Count Ranalc at Gen Con 2022?

I remember a fleeting mention of Count Ranalc in one of the panels this year, but can't seem to find which, and I'm not exactly eager to scrub through several days' worth of streams to try and find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I swear it was an answer Eleanor gave to some question.

Thanks in advance!

Was it in the "Secrets of Golarion" panel? There was some talk of the First World and some talk about Nex in that one.

Secrets of Golarion was a PaizoCon panel; this was at Gen Con, but I can’t find it for the life of me.

Not sure it was mentioned in the one panel I did, but (Kingmaker spoiler to follow)...

Spoiler:
Count Ranlac has a tiny bit of info in Kingmaker if you look closely and in the right places.

??????? Now I'm really confused.

Spoiler:
Are you being coy? I think you are but I'm easily confused.

I'm not being coy so much as just trying to avoid spoilers for a product that's still not completely released yet. Once Kingmaker's street date is here and the world gets to see it and enough time has passed for folks to notice, I'll maybe have more to say. It's not a BIG element of Kingmaker—and it's one that I suspect most parties won't ever discover or learn, but it's right there in the text.

This is a thing that's in the new version of Kingmaker, but not previous versions of Kingmaker?

I believe so, yes. It's been, perhaps, implied in previous editions, though. Hard to keep track of what we've planned for characters behind the scenes for decades but never actually said "out loud" in print...

The part that confused me that I must have interpreted subtext as text namely because its one of my favorite parts of the setting so I remember all the details.

Nah, that was different exiled Eldest, one whose name we never learned :D That tidbit is back from 1e First World book

I believe the Kingmaker tidbit is…

Big Kingmaker Spoilers:
that he was exiled to the Shadow Plane for his romance with Nyrissa, a nymph who tried to rise against/make herself one of the Eldest.

But the info this thread is about was

Half-Remembered Stream Spoiler:
I believe about Count Ranalc having vanished because Nex sealed him in either the Crux or the Refuge, I believe? Maybe the Spire?
and that being where he’s been all this time.

Latter thing is about Worldscape comics shenanigans having greater implications but not outright confirmed what happened to Ranalc :'D
