Archetypes and Class Stuff in Dark archive.

Pathfinder Second Edition General Discussion

What things are you hoping for in dark archive outside of the classes. I'm crossing my fingers for witch content and maybe an archetype for finding a sentient item.

I'd like more "esoteric" Skill Feats that allow you to mix magic and other Skills for neat things.

Like, Occultism/Religion + Medicine for some sort of spiritual first aid, Nature/Arcana + Survival for magical tracking...

And I'd love some Monk content!

I liked the Sensate archetype for Fighters in Psychic Adventures in 1E, so I'd love a Sensate archetype for any class to boost blind-sense and things like that.

A Harrow archetype would be fun too.

Too late to edit. That period instead of a question mark is gonna haunt me.

I'm also looking forward to some more monk content, new stances perhaps, or some more occult ki spells.

I'm also hoping for an archetype that lets any caster learn how to use the psychic's method of casting, since I think that'd be pretty neat for other builds, like an illusion focused wizard.

I'm also hoping we get Psychic Detective back as an investigator methodology.

Aberration-inspired instincts for barbarians would be cool too, though they feel less likely. Same for a more aberration-focused transforming druid.

I also think Sensate would be a neat archetype to have come back. It'd probably be tied to perception proficiency, so it would still be available to fighters, and also some other classes like ranger and investigator.

I'm also really hoping for a couple new eidolons as well. Aberration and Shadow, for example.

I’d be glad to see a supernatural Investigator Methodology of some sort. Any Archetype for being haunted, alien-abducted, or Tapestry-touched would be very welcome, too.

If they leave this as it was in the playtest, this won't help you. Psychic's casting is as noisy and detectable as anyone else's.

like Tetsuo from Akira yelling as he sends pure kinetic force turning people into paste... wait that is too cool and too strong for pathfinder.

An Abberation Eidolon would be nice. It was always one of my favorites. I'm hoping blood magic makes it in here, as well.

For more if a long shot, I wouldn't mind a occult wizard class archetype. Esotericist or something like that. I think there is a lot of flavor to be had there.
