While I've run games for years on tabletop, (though not recently, to be fair) and I'm really not sure if I'm up for it here, yet...I just can't get the idea out of my head to run something, y'know?
I figured I'd look around and see what I might be interested in offering, and I stumbled upon this classic from the relaunch of 3.5 D&D. I remember those days and new and exciting, and frankly, fun.
So, even though a quick search shows that this has indeed been run here before, would anyone be interested in delving into the Sunless Citadel? As a starting point, I think I'd go with all Base and Core classes and races, but without Archetypes. Probably 20 pt build.
Again, this is just an interest check at this point...and opening for discussion.

Anything old school sounds interesting to me. I don't know much about Sunless Citadel. Can you give me some insight into what type of a region its setting would be in? I could google it but it might give me some information I'd rather not know. If you can give me some more info, it might alter what type of character I'd consider making. Is the setting Forests? Deserts? Standard medieval setting or futuristic? Is it a Citadel known and people don't go into? What levels does it run from and to? Any information would help me grow my interest in it.
I would love to play in something like this. I am too old to craft all the trendy munchkin characters of today’s fancy.
It's a first level crawl with some investigation and opportunity for rping and diplomacy. Pretty standard setting, (Dalelands in FR or Furyondy in Greyhawk), with an ancient keep/citadel that as a result of an earthquake ages ago has fallen deep into a fissure in the earth.
Starting gold? :)

What kind of posting rate would you be looking for, both us and yours. Are you thinking just a 'one shot' or are you considering more afterwards?

Core and base Classes, No Hybrid classes, I can work with that.
Though for Fighter, since it never gets picked or used, it could be the ONLY class that gets allowed APG archetypes, or increase the skill points per level to 4 instead of 2.Already got a few ideas for characters, including a Core Fighter with class as is, though I am using racial trait options to get it closer to mechanically and in fluff to the idea.

If we're doing old-school with minimal frills, I think I'll have to go with my all-time favorite class: The Bard.

Wow. Loving the response, and I guess that answers my questions about there being interest in this. Unfortunately, I'm not ready to roll with this just yet, but will be soon, probably in August when my workload slows down. Didn't mean to insinuate otherwise.
So, basically what I'll do is post an actual recruitment then, and give you guys all first shot at a spot in the party.
