Ask what's thematical and what's not in Lost Omens

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I'm asking with...

  • Once he was liaison, but loved technology. Before dead, he attempted to help others to escape. He remember this after turned into Petitioner.
  • Judge said go to Elysium.
  • Turned into Azata slowly.

What's thematical and what's not.

Typically petitioners do not recall details about their life, but atypical things are what create stories and plots. So...maybe?

Living Graffiti who wants to save structure containing something that was used to create itself.

Is this thematical or not?

There are a few notable petitioners who kept their identities after death. One of them is Nightripper, who is not a nice person, not a nice person at all.

Hence my use of 'typically'.

The description of Living Graffiti says "They cannot exist apart from the surfaces they traverse except in brief bursts, which they typically use to harass or attack nearby creatures. Although they are not incredibly intelligent, living graffiti exhibit a mischievous spitefulness and seeming desire to make the real world as much of a caricature as their own two-dimensional domain."

As a matter of pure survival it would be interested in seeing its structure remain intact, but whether it has the intelligence to go about that in a manner besides attacking people who want to destroy its structure is another question.

Whatever needs to be true in order to tell the best story is the thing that should be true so long as that's the story you want to tell.

What does the word thematical mean?

Check this link. James used the word "Thematic".

Instead of something like "crunch" vs. "fluff" or "rules" vs. "flavor" the two parallel tracks of "mechanics" and "thematics" are generally preferred by the Paizo folks since it puts the two dimensions on equal footing.
