Did you know that on Windows 10 computers you can press the Windows and Period keys together to bring up an emoji option? Seems to work great on the forums here.

Can even be used to make action symbols.

The black and hollow diamonds are ASCII, whereas the colored icons are emoji. I'm sure you can use them for other things too. 😁

Not too sure how you would do this on Mac or mobile, but perhaps someone can give it a try and post it here for the community?

On a Mac, the keyboard shortcut for the emoji/unicode menu is Control-Command-Space. All of the symbols show up fine when I Preview the post, but Paizo seems to eat the emoji diamonds when I hit Submit. The arrow emoji for the reaction survives, though. Weird.

I can see the black diamonds okay, but all the emoji preceding them looks like a bust.

I usually have to copy my text before hitting SUBMIT, because there appears to be a higher chance of the forum eating my post when I include emojis (or simply not displaying the emojis for some reason).

Trying again (or hitting EDIT) and pasting the text in seems to work though.

You can always try previewing the post as well.

I did NOT know about this function! Thank you!

These symbols make my screen reader's, and my, brain hurt.

Just like how the respected competition had actual built-in emoticons for things like "mana symbols" back when they had forums, I'd appreciate it if Paizo could do something similar for the PF2 action icons.
