Heal: the second how function?

Rules Discussion

"You channel positive energy to heal the living or damage the undead. If the target is a willing living creature, you restore 1d8 Hit Points. If the target is undead, you deal that amount of positive damage to it, and it gets a basic Fortitude save. The number of actions you spend when Casting this Spell determines its targets, range, area, and other parameters.

Single Action (somatic) The spell has a range of touch.
Two Actions (verbal, somatic) The spell has a range of 30 feet. If you're healing a living creature, increase the Hit Points restored by 8.
Three Actions (material, somatic, verbal) You disperse positive energy in a 30-foot emanation. This targets all living and undead creatures in the burst"

At two action is a d8+8, or 8?

At two actions, the spell has 2 variations depending on its being used for damage or healing :

Healing 1d8+8 to a living creature
Dealing 1d8 positive damage to an undead creature.

Thus the specific wording.

Horizon Hunters

The spell heals 1d8, or does 1d8 positive damage to undead.
If you use 2 actions, the range increases to 30 feet.
If you use two actions and are healing a living creature, not causing damage to an undead creature, you increase the amount of healing by 8.

Then, to complete the list, at 3 actions, you affect all targets in a 30 foot emanation for 1d8.

Note that this mode will heal every living creature in the area, including enemies! It's great to quickly patch up your party after a fight, though, or when you're fighting groups of undead.

2nd level 2d8+3, 3rd 3d8+5... 10d8+20, 1d8-10d8 8-80+1-20... I'm correct? Pisa the says 1d8+16 a 3 liv... A me is invalidate...

(heal that living creature)

Horizon Hunters

With a 2 action heal, it would be 1d8+8, 2d8+16, 3d8+24... 10d8+80.

With a 1 or 3 action heal, it would not have the additional healing at all.

No.

If the target is a willing living creature, you restore 1d8 Hit Points. (1-10)d8,level dosen't compare... I correct? 1d8 remain 1d8 if I 1 or 20?

You only do the (Spell Level)d8 unless you use 2 actions to cast the spell. If you do, it's (Spell Level)d8+8x(Spell Level).

1 action: Heal touched living target for 1d8 or hurt touched undead target for 1d8 positive damage.

2 actions: Heal living target at 30 ft range for 1d8+8, or hurt undead target at 30 ft range for 1d8 positive damage.
3 actions: Heal all living targets within 30 ft for 1d8 and hurt all undead targets within 30 ft for 1d8 positive damage.

When casting at a higher level, increase healing/damage by 1d8/spell level, and add +8/spell level healing to the 2-action version (so a 3rd-level 2-action Heal would either heal a living target for 3d8+24 or harm an undead target for 3d8)

Without additional abilities, there is no other addition to the healing/damage. "3d8+5" is not generally something you'll see the Heal spell do.

Targets that would be harmed by the spell get a basic Fortitude save.

2nd: 1d8+8?...a me just 1 Liv, no...
1d8 => 8.

Domanda a part: 1d8, 1d8, 2d8, 10d8, ma livello is 1d8+1, 4d8+7?

I'm "Heightened (+1) The amount of healing or damage increases by 1d8, and the extra healing for the 2-action version increases by 8.", 1d8, 2nd 8, not 1d8+8.

A domand, 1d8 + level, o 1d8 and stop?

For each level heightened:

1 action heal increases by 1d8.

2 action increases by 1d8+8

3 action increases by 1d8.

So, for a level 3 heal you would have:

1 action healing 3d8

2 action healing 3d8+24

3 action healing 3d8 in an area.
