For those complaining that the eidolon doesn't have enough evolution-based options, would this fix it? Would it be too much? (Assuming the overall pool of feats is much larger than what's shown in just the playtest.)
Or might something like the fighter's Combat Flexibility and Improved Flexibility be better balanced?

The issue is that it would require one to weaken other class feats and features to compensate, which screws over people who want to invest primarily into minionmancy.
It would also require a lot of evolution options to be nerfed, which would hurt those who want to dabble in one or two punchy abilities.
I think it's a FANTASTIC idea for a Class Archetype that just swaps out the spell slot casting for a fully roided-up Eidolon, but I don't think it's going to work well with the core chassis of the class.
