The cozy cabin spell is good, but it has some limitations which might matter for a given circumstance. For example, whoever casts the cabin can't step outside or the spell ends while the yurt cares not if the activator walks outside for a bit.
The yurt, though the size isn't specified, is clearly much larger as well since it provides space in which 10 medium creatures can sleep. Both the yurt and the cabin have some basic furnishings, but the cabin looks to be designed for specifically a small party while the yurt can handle a larger party or a small party with some mounts/NPCs along for the trip.
Then there's the issue of food and water; the yurt has 10 medium creatures covered... and the cabin doesn't provide any.

The interesting thing is that the spell has environmental protection while the Yurt does not. I was assuming that you would only take it as a wand since it would be a waste of a spell known.
In terms of food
1 Explorer yurt is 880 gp
or
1 wand Cozy cabin 360 gp
1 wand Create Food 160 gp
4 wands Create Water 240 gp
It is still cheaper to go the wands route UNLESS:
A) You routinely travel without a character trained in survival
B) Nobody can activate wands
C0 Your party is 10+ people
Thank you, that helps make it quite clear

Cozy Cabin is the type of spell I would want to get into a wand as s soon as I could
I suspect it is a wand or staff type thing. Eventually a level 3 wand is going to be cheap and being able to whip one out to let your group have a good night sleep could make a big difference in journeys away from town.
