So I had this idea to set up my cork board with a bunch of posts as if it was a job board in a tavern (The Rusty Dragon) so my players could gather around it and pick their next job. I’d love both serious quests and little stuff like lost dogs. They are starting at 1st level, so keep that in mind. Bonus points for anything that directly ties into the Sandpoint book.

Physical laborers are needed in just about any place and setting - Lonjiku Kaijitsu could be looking for some heavy lifting for a job in the Glassworks, or one of the inns could want a long-term heavy muscle type. Or maybe the town needs help setting up for the festival that's coming up...
Escort missions are another mainstay in any fantasy game setting, with the numbers of monsters that are roaming about. Maybe one of the local noble families is going on a trip and wants some extra (literal or metaphorical) muscle to make sure animals or other nuisances don't cause trouble.

Jobs in Sandpoint should be fairly mundane. Think about it; until the events of the AP the town hasn't really had to deal with much an adventurer could be useful dealing with for years, since the Late Unpleasantness.
No, jobs should be like ridding local farms of pests, helping with harvests, repairing roofs, and such. If you really want adventurer type encounters you might have lone monsters that need to be dealt with out on one of the moors or in Sogs Bay or something.
Now, AFER the AP starts, well... that's a different story...
