Sig gives the creature next to him a serious cut, though it remains fluttering next to him.

Lucius, continues to have poor aim with his rocks, missing the one floating near Sindri, but Hideaki snatches the creature by its wings, right as Sindri launches two arrows into it, leaving the atomie unconscious.

Silas cuts down the third with spell and blade, and it drops to the forest floor.

In retaliation, the one next to Sig stabs at him with a needle thin rapier. Despite a well aimed strike, it leaves nothing more than a superficial wound on the wyrwood.

At the same time the fourth atomie reappears, as a swirl of magic surrounds Lucius. It then flies higher into the tree branches, out of reach of melee combatants.

Sorry. I was tired, disregard the action part of this.

Sigfried watched the little thing attempt to prick at his armor, feeling the dent that was otherwise worthless against his body. Anything but real damage meant nothing to a being that could not grow tired or pass out. With that in mind of this little creature being unable to truly damage him, Sigfried would continue his assault in bringing the little creature down.

Silas would be able to confirm that the fey magic of the atomies, like most magic, will fade within a few minutes. Whether he wants to reveal that or not.... is a different story :)

Sindri will grin at Lucius, "well I suppose now you know what it's like to be on my level. Don't worry friend, being small forever is too bad, provided you're well proportioned." Say this laughing all the while.

Quickly gathering the bodies of the unconscious atomies, prepping them for healing or burial."What should we do with the unconscious ones? Heal them or "return" them to the land? They could fetch a fine price, hell what do we do with the living one?"

Male Human (Tien) Unchained Rogue/Brawler Gestalt 2

"I didn't catch it to kill it. Bodies don't talk, unless one of you has some really odd magic they haven't told me about." Examining the tiny fairy clutched in his hands, he spoke directly to it. "So. You're irritating, but I doubt your coordinated efforts can kill much more than a squirrel. There's something else here. Tell me, little fairy, have you heard strange music coming from deeper in the woods?"

HP 66/66, AC 28, T 15, FF 25, Fort +9, ref +7, Will +3, Per +8, Init +4, CMD 22

Lucius will find a tree, climb up so he can dangle from a branch, and try to stretch himself out.

Sigfried would observe the dead one at his feet for a moment before putting away his weapon. Walking over to join his other comrades, his lone eye would wander between the group. Eventually it would linger on their captive, focused intently. "Curious: So what is our intended line of questioning of this little one?"

While Lucius begins a series of antics to try and restore himself to his proper size, so far ineffectually, Hideaki tries to get some information out of the captive. As he begins talking to the creature, it gets a stubborn look on its face, then interrupts him, "Ako želite da razgovarate sa mnom, ne razgovara sa mnom u vašeg psa jeziku."

Sylvan:

"If you want to talk to me, don't talk to me in your dog tongue."

At mention of strange music though, the creature gets look of fury and disgust on its face. "U satira .... bogohulnike od ove šume."

Sylvan:

"The satyrs.... blasphemers of these woods."

Sindri heard enough of the atomie,"We've gotten you beat and you still won't even give us the good grace of a common tongue. So be it."

Sindri will tend to the wounds of the hurt atomies, cleaning their wounds and dressing them with fresh leaves.

Sindri proceeds to draw 3 arrows taken from his goblin quiver, he beings to tie the each atomie to a single arrow by their wrists and ankles. Planting them into the ground clear view for the atomie in Hidaeki's grasp.

drawing another arrow from his quiver he will point to the tied up atomies, pulling the arrow tight and firing it at a 45 degree angle into the sky.

Sindri will address the captive atomies in all the languages he knows.

Undercommon,Gnomish,Aklo and Common:
"Listen and listen good, tell me in any of these languages about the strange music now! Why are you threatening to poke out the eyes of hunters, what tricks are you up to?! If you don't tell me now, I will fire one of your friends into the sky, another will be drawn and quartered, one will be target practice and I'm going to cook you. I'm a gnome on the edge."

Male Human (Tien) Unchained Rogue/Brawler Gestalt 2

Taejin rolls his eyes at the fairy, an exasperated Tien word with no real translation serving perfectly well to express his displeasure. Switching back to the common tongue, he addressed the fairy. "You know, I'm half inclined to let him carry that out if you don't speak Common with us."

Sindri stops the bleeding of the three unconscious ones, before tying them to his arrows to make his threat.

Sindri Intimidate with circumstance bonus and size bonus: 1d20 - 1 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (6) - 1 + 5 + 4 = 14

The atomie's tiny eyes go wide, and it speaks in common, "You wouldn't?" as if trying to convince itself that Sindri will not follow through with his threat. "Satyr's, three wicked satyr's. They play their song every evening before coming to torment our mistress, the keeper of these woods."

"We have never hurt a single human who has come through here, merely chased them off."

I will be out of town all of next week. I will still be able to post, but won't be able to provide any maps.

Sindri will look at the Atomie clutched in the hands of Taejin, "There that was wasn't too hard, I promise release your friends. Just tell me two more thing and I'm sure my companions will let you go peacefully."

Sindri will pull out the three arrows that are planted firmly into the ground, untying the unconscious atomies and bringing them towards the lively one. Sindri will place them on the ground carefully, Sindri will bend his knee and move in close to the atomie to ask his final set of questions.
"What creatures lurk in these woods that we should watch out for?
Who is your Mistress and how do the Satyrs torment your people? Perhaps our fates are tied, maybe your troubles will lead to our solutions."

Sindri will stand up, dusting the dirt of off his knees and hands.
"Well boys, the Atomie has served his purpose. I say we let them go, killing them at this point would be a waste of our time, they haven't harmed the hunters from Gumlat so there is no need for law and order."

HP 66/66, AC 28, T 15, FF 25, Fort +9, ref +7, Will +3, Per +8, Init +4, CMD 22

Lucius is still trying to stretch out, bouncing from a dangling grip on a branch.

"Ask them how i get back to normal!"

Male Human (Tien) Unchained Rogue/Brawler Gestalt 2

Taejin will laugh at Lucius' antics, unable to form sentences thanks to mirth. It's not even how absurd he looks being that tiny but still proportioned like a normal human adult; it's his voice. It sounds ridiculous.

"Sona'jarle is our mistress, the dryad and keeper of these woods. Every week the satyrs torment her. Their hearts are black. I can bring you to speak with her if you promise her no harm."

The atomie looks over at Lucius, and suppresses a grin, "The magic will fade in a few minutes."

Sindri listens intently to the atomies offer, examining every whisper and work carefully, something are too good to be true.
Sense motives: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

"An interesting proposal, I'm in favour of it. These woods are not my domain, I wish not to upset the balance. I would respect your wishes, provided you grant us safe passage. I know the feeling of having your home destroyed." said the Svirfneblin.

Once words have been exchanged, Sindri will carefully scoop up the unconscious atomies and place them in an empty quiver."I will carry them till we get to your village."

"Confidence: Speaking with their mistress will prove most effective. Both in discovering what is truly at work, and working on a deal," the contruct agreed, nodding towards the dark gnome the pair on the same page. Sigfried made it a point to stick near Sindri and keep his eye on the captives, wary of tricks that could risk injury to his group.

Male Human (Tien) Unchained Rogue/Brawler Gestalt 2

"I won't hurt her if she doesn't hurt us first." The martial artist would release the fairy and roll his shoulders. "I've never met a dryad before. Sounds interesting."

The fey leads the group further south, into a thicker part of the woods. As the forest gets darker under the towering trees, the magic of the fey wears off of Lucius, and he returns to normal size.

Amidst a cluster of elms the atomie lets out a shrill whistle. Two more atomies flutter down from among the branches of the trees, and the first speaks to them in Sylvan.

"Ovi oni su jaki, čuvajte ih ne naljutiti. Ceana, Dolidh, i Gormal su ranjeni, iako ovi stranci su ih poštedio. Oni žele da razgovara sa ljubavnica šumi. Oni upita muzike u šumi."

Sylvan:

"These ones are strong, beware you do not anger them. Ceana, Dolidh, and Gormal are wounded, though these strangers have spared them. They wish to speak with the mistress of the woods. They inquired of the music in the woods."

One of the new comers shoots off through the trees, disappearing from sight. After a minutes wait one of the elms, 15' away, seems to split down the middle and out steps a woman with skin the texture of bark, her hair the color of autumn leaves. She holds a longbow, with an arrow loosely nocked, though she is not pointing it at anyone. She remains with one feet still sticking into the strange hole in the tree.

Two of the atomies fly over to hover near her, though your guide remains close to the group.

When she speaks it is like the rustling of leaves in the wind, but she uses the common tongue. "What is your purpose in these woods?"

"We've been told of trouble in these woods and we're here to end it. From what your little friends say, it sounds like the Satyrs are the cause of it all. "

Male Human (Tien) Unchained Rogue/Brawler Gestalt 2

Content to let Lucius speak, Taejin's eyes search the area for other fairies before alighting on what he assumes is the dryad. She's definitely a sight, but Taejin still isn't sure what to think of her.

Sindri will take a step foward, hands out in the open to assure that he's not a threat. He will remove his empty quiver and remove the atomies from it and play them upon the soil.

"We're keeping our end of the deal, they're spared just as we promised."
Walking back towards where the other are.

"We're in the woods because we've heard some mysterious activities, tales of superstitious hunters on the fringe of civilization. Now we're hearing about bewitched satyrs. We cannot go into too much detail, but we believe whatever is causing these occurrences are beyond normal magic."
Sindri will try to give as much details as one could while remaining cryptic.

The dryad walks over to look down at the unconscious atomie. "I thank you for sparing them." a look of relief on her face.

"You have heard correctly. These satyrs are malicious and cruel. I have been able to... corral them... for these past few years, but that is coming to an end. They number three, but they are strong as they are twisted. Would you face the satyrs then?"

HP 66/66, AC 28, T 15, FF 25, Fort +9, ref +7, Will +3, Per +8, Init +4, CMD 22

"Yep. That's what we came here for. I suppose you know where they are right?"

"I do. I also know where they will come this evening if you'd prefer. I cannot interfere directly, but my allies" she gestures to the atomies hovering nearby, "can aid you if you wish."

Human Cleric Pharasma 6| HP 51/51 | AC 20/10/20 | +7/+3/+8 | Init +0 | Perc +4 | PP(2/2) Spells: Shield of Faith +3AC, False Life 9hp, Divine Favor +3

Sigfried's lone eye remained on the dryad throughout his groups negotiations. Ever since the transformation, new emotions seemed to be invading him for the first time, the automaton experiences a newer feeling upon hearing hopes for help and seeing her look of concern for her tiny followers. It made him feel almost protective. "Assurance: You need not worry any longer miss. Our group shall deal with those plaguing you and set things right here. Both our groups will benefit."

Male Human (Tien) Unchained Rogue/Brawler Gestalt 2

Taejin will nod in agreement. "I'd prefer that the fairies stay out of the way, as from what I've seen so far they're just as likely to hinder us as the enemy and then get themselves hurt to boot." He then looks over to Silas. "What do you know about Satyrs, Silas? Am I going to be able to injure them without iron or should I focus on hindering them indirectly?"

Sorry for the delay, long work week kept me busy.

Sindri will remain ever so quiet, removing a small pipe from his pocket and filling it with a bitter tobacco mixed with some tea leaves.
"So we agree to attack by nightfall, the last stand of the fey. So be it. Would you be able to show us where they attack, would be nice to get a lay of the land to set an ambush or some sort of trap."

Staring into the ashen pipe Sindri remembers a concern he had.
"The villagers of Gumlat told us of troubling stories of fey creatures attacking them and what have you. Your atomies told us they just scared them off, I wanted to know if we deal with your troubles, would you honour our service by bridging the gap with your people and the village of Gumlat?"

Silas:

Satyrs are half-man, half-goat creatures of the fey world, and like many fey are resistant to damage from weapons not made of cold iron. They are debauched and hedonistic creatures, often wooing young maidens. The dryad's description of malicious seems out of place for what you know of satyrs.

Satyrs are capable of several magical abilities at will, including charm, sleep, and suggestion. They are also capable of causing fear in their enemies, and summoning the allies of nature to aid them. They are seldom without a set of panpipes, which they can use to enchant groups of individuals simultaneously with the same spell like abilities.

The dryad responds to Sindri with a frown, "I will not. The people of the village have the rest of the forest to do their hunting and trapping. They need not likewise spoil the southern edge here, where the most ancient of trees grow. If you require something of payment, I have several trinkets that have been left to me over the years that I will pass on to you in exchange." she turns to look southward, "But follow please if you will."

The dryad leads the way further into the forest, the overgrowth getting thicker, the woods darker. She gestures toward two large oaks growing close to one another. "They usually come through, or around, these two trees, though they will be playing their pipes as they come so you will likely hear them long ere they arrive. If you wish to go further on, I can show you the place they usually rest by day if you prefer, or rather take you to the stream that will lead you to them."

I'm unclear if the group wants to wait till dusk, or wants to go locate them now and see them while it is still late afternoon.

"I'm not saying giving up your land, I recognize your sovereignty. I suggest working with them to better them, they would surely help you in kind."

Sindri will exhale a large cloud of smoke before emptying his pipe and putting it back in breast pocket."Isolation can only last for so long, my people were much like yourselves, we kept to our own. Eventually Duergar forces destroyed our city. Regardless we will accept your offer and trinkets for dealing with the satyrs. Let's sneak in while they're sleeping and end this nightmare."
