Does True Seeing work against invisibility? Or just things like Mirror Image, Animal Form, Veil etc.

If the invisibility came from a illusion effect, then yes, it does work.

The Darkness spell or the heightened Darkness spell?

Its not totally clear to me, but they aren't illusions so I'm guessing no - True Seeing doesn't work versus any of them.

I ask because there are now several ways to get Greater Darkvision.

No, True Seeing doesn't help with most darkness at all, though it technically would if the darkness were an Illusion effect (which is possible, but not what the Darkness spell does).

It works vs any illusion or transmutation. Darkness is evocation, so I'd say no.
