I think I already know the answer to this, but want to see if there is an exception. My Solarian is a former Castrovellian Sholatsu Cavalry Sergeant. He still has his mount. Now if he uses Supernova when mounted, the blast will affect the mount as well, correct?

I can't see any reason to think it wouldn't.

Interestingly, supernova doesn't indicate that you are immune to the effect... though I think it would be a bad call to rule that you aren't immune to the damage.

I don't think you can extend this assumed self-immunity to a mount though.

I think you mean to phrase the question

"I can't use my supernova, otherwise I would hit my poor defenseless mount who loves and trusts me with their well being. Riiiiiiight?"

Just ride a fire elemental as a mount.

Then you'd have no foreseeable and preventable problems.
