At first I was thinking Bruising Intellect, to switch from Charisma to Intelligence for the extra skills. This character isn't really a skill monkey, but skills are good to have.
Then I was thinking about Memorable, to extend the duration. Chances are that anyone/anything that gets intimidated will not live long enough to see the end of the duration with or without this trait, though.
Now I'm considering Adopted (Ifrit): Fiery Glare, to Take 10 on Intimidate checks even in combat. If my bonus is high enough, even a low roll will still probably succeed.
I have the normal feats lined up to support Intimidate, like Skill Focus and Persuasive and Signature Skill, and I am pretty sure I know the other traits I'm going to take...
Just need help with the Social Trait because there are several good ones that all influence/interact with this build well.

How much of an increase is the switch to Int?
What about something like Adopted(Beast Bully) to gain most of another skill without much investment?

You can already Intimidate Animals (unless they are mindless). Until that trait came out, no one questioned it.
Beast Bully would allow you to do things like command the knight's horse to buck them, or stand where it is. Or command that random encounter bear to attack the other one while the party just takes on the winner.

The character is a Gestalt of the Viking Fighter archetype and the Lantern Lighter/Wild Stalker Ranger archetypes.
So he has a decent amount of class skills available to make the switch to Intelligence more tempting.
Typical feats like Power Attack/Cornugon Smash/Hurtful/Cruelty/Dazzling Display/Shatter Defenses/Dreadful Carnage/Intimidating Prowess
I will grab the Intimidating Glare, Battle Roar, and Terrifying Howl rage powers as they become available.
Use a Cruel weapon, for obvious reasons, as well as the Glorious enchantment to get some good use out of the Lantern Lighter's Stunning/Paralysing Light special ability.

What ARE your stats?
I'm a fan of the feat: Intimidating Prowess - which would render most traits obsolete - but it obviously it only helps if you're going STR-based.
It kind of sounds like you don't really need to add much for your intimidate to be super-effective. You could spend the trait on something else?

Personally, when I really need Intimidate, I shell out a little gold.
Gravelly Tonic and Elixir of the Thundering Voice. If +15 isn't enough, you probably have other problems. The tonic is even pretty economical at low levels too.
