Skill Feats in Archetypes

Rules Discussion

Just confirming that the Thorough Reports feat for Pathfinder Agent is a skill feat and can be taken with a skill feat slot. Is that right?

Yes, the feat is marked with a "skill" tag because it is a skill feat.

Nice :)

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Was really surprised Half of Magic Warrior didn't have the skill tag.

Yep, that means you can finish out the Pathfinder Agent at 4th level and pick up a new multiclass at 6th. :)

PS: Hellknight Armiger also has a skill feat.

Well blow me down. I noticed the Skill trait but for some reason never made the connect.

That just made those feats way better for not taking up class feat slots.

Wait can you?

The Dedication requires lv 2. Then the rest require lv 4.
Wait nvm. I'm dumb. you get skill and class feats on even don't you? (or at least alch does). So yup totally can finish at 4.

It makes me happy because I reallly want P.Agent in my Alchemist, but he also sort of needs Ranger to stay safe/relatively competitive later.
(Also I kind of dislike most Alch feats anyway).

Being able to finish up fast is neat. Also I think really a good design space for archetypes like that one, that don't directly contribute to combat effectiveness. ( Combat isn't everything no, but it is a significant portion. Love that it won't cost much to pick up something flavorful).
Now the Aid feat or the wayfinder feat. Cantrip vs Aid combo~ neat!

Nice! I didnt pick up on that consequence. I'm really glad I asked my obvious question!
