Howdy. I am hoping this is the right place for this! Brand new to the society section of the website/paizo and such. Didn't see a more a pproriate place and it seems like other questions have been asked in this area.
So in both half elf and half orc have a section about being half anything else.
Such as being human-goblin (possibly also elf-dwarf and such?)
"Other Halves
By default, half-elves and half-orcs descend from humans, but your GM might allow you to be the offspring of an elf, orc, or different ancestry. In these cases, the GM will let you select the half-elf or half-orc heritage as the heritage for this other ancestry. The most likely other parent of a half-elf are gnomes and halflings, and the most likely parents of a half-orc are goblins, halflings, and dwarves."
For Society play... Are you allowed to actually be one of the other combinations?
Such as a Human-Goblin.?
Or is this one of those things that are in core-(which I thought all of society was okay with currently) that isn't PFS okay? Or is this one of those Boon situations of some sort?
Or can I just have my cute lil half goblin whose mother is the cook at a library temple he grew up at.

My reading of the 'other halves' section suggests that with GM approval one could play a half elf who was an elf/gnome or elf/halfling offspring, or a half Orc that was an orc/goblin offspring, etc. I think these combos are unlikely in PFS unless some future product fleshes them out in greater detail. It would be an interesting option for an orc/goblin hybrid to forfeit access to human ancestry feats in exchange for goblin feats.
