Hello pauljathome!

If you're referring to the avatar for that post, I see it in several browsers across numerous operating systems, physical machines, and networks. You might try clearing your cache. If that doesn't work, we'll need more details about your browser, operating system, etc.

I don't see your avatar, Brian.

Interesting - to anyone who can't see my avatar - what occurs if you visit this URL?

Pretty sure problem is NOT on my end. I tried 3 different browsers (1 I think has never been to Paizo before. Ever). Even rebooted router in case there was some strange DNS lookup issue.

I CAN see your (Brian)'s avatar

I asked in the PBP area linked to above. Others are also unable to see my avatar there. Just adding a bit more information in case it is helpful :-)

I can see the avatar images in the thread linked, but I can't see my own avatar.

Thanks for the additional info, folks! It sounds like a per-region issue with our CDN. I'll dig in further tomorrow.

I see all of the avatars in this thread, including my own and the one Brian linked to. I'm using Chrome.

Weird. Some are beginning to pop back in. Still some missing.

I did notice that my old avatar (apparently a lashunta general) was no longer available after I switched away from it. Maybe it wasn't labeled as being a lashunta despite the obvious antennae on his head?

I couldn't see Brian's avatar at home but can at the office. Different ISPs.

One of my Play-by-post games all our avatars have disappeared almost; in another one, no one seems to have lost the avatar. In this thread, I see everyone's but Brian's.

There was a misconfiguration in our CDN for a short period yesterday afternoon that appears to have resulted in some bad requests and their resulting "nope" responses being cached. The config problem should be fixed now, and I just manually cleared the existing cache, so in theory all previously working image links should now be working again.

If you're still seeing this problem, try clearing your browser cache and trying again. If that doesn't work, can you let us know which images are still being affected? Thanks!

Clearing the cache brought back some. This one is still missing:

I seem to be good now. Thanks

Hmm. I've tested that url from our internal network and from a bunch of external networks, and that image comes up consistently without any problems. When you point your browser directly at that link, what are you seeing?

I'll try clearing my cache again, but that's what comes up after clearing it already.

Just as a data point, I CAN see that image. I DID have to clear my cache to see it but after that it was there
