Hello guys,
I have this dilema. One of my friends who used to be Gnome Summoner, had a lot of gnome only feats and on top of that is Synthesist Summoner with Small Eidelon, died and was reincarnated into Dwarf.
This is giant kick into his build and we are really trying to find more permanent solution. In description of Cyclic Reincarnation:
This spell allows a dead creature that died no more than 1 year before the casting of the spell to return to life in a body that closely resembles its original body*; it functions as* reincarnate except as noted. Cyclic reincarnation returns the dead creature to life in a new body of the same race that the target belonged to in life, and the new body appears physically similar to the creature’s previous one, to the extent that the creature could be easily mistaken for its own offspring or kin. If the affected creature isn’t a humanoid, there is a 75% chance that the creature returns to life as a youth of its race, gaining the young creature simple template instead (or becomes a juvenile, in the case of dragons and other creatures whose power is determined by their age category).
If he would die again and we would cast Cyclic Reincarnation would he return as Gnome or Dwarf ?Also if you know about any other permanent solution besides Wish or Miracle (we just dont have enought gold) please share it with me. Also we are really often facing Greater Dispel Magic, so simple Polymorph spell wouldnt be enought.

He'd return as a dwarf. That's his body now. You're gonna need a wish or a miracle, or else keep rolling the reincarnate lotto until the dice come up "gnome" again. As to whether that changes creature type, expect table variation there. For my reading, reincarnate says the target gains all abilities of the new form, and while the term "Natural Abilities" is very vaguely defined, I'd consider creature type to be a natural ability. On the other hand, if the feat relies on the nature of a gnome's mind rather than their physical properties, it seems reasonable to allow the feat anyway.
If the gnome had so many gnome-only feats, why on earth did the party not spring for raise dead?

Because in our party ,,cooperation,, and ,,teamwork,, are curse words. When I joined nobody had any healing wands, potions or scrolls with support spells and our only cleric is basicly roleplaying as Thanos, sitting on his mighty chair 90% of the fight, just saying how incapable we all are and after we all fall, he stands up and saves the day.

There is a magic item that lets you roll twice on the Reincarnate table and take your choice of results. You may want to get that item before you have him try again. I am guessing that what he needs is to be Small, correct?
Not just small also gnome for all his gnome feats. I looked into everything polymorphs, reincarnation lotery, wishes, retraining...
We just dont have enought time and money for those. We have only last game remaining, your DM is calling all players (this is ending of 2 years long game, a lot of players dropped and were drafted over time) for one last game and some of them have some huge infixed problems with their characters.Best solution I found was just try to track his gnome body and use Cyclic Reincarnation on it.

The DM should let him keep all his gnome feats, saying that he still gnome on the *inside*. You could also say that, yes, he's a dwarf, but he's a very, very small dwarf, and let him keep his small size, if it's important.
Either that, or let him trade out his gnome feats for free, since he was screwed by the use of that spell. It's almost like rebuilding his character, but sometimes you have to bite the bullet and take one for the team.

What level is your group and how much money is available?
https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/p/polymorph-any-object/
Polymorph Any Object from dwarf to gnome should be a permanent solution:
Same Kingdom (animal), same class (mammal), Related (your soul was originally gnome), same or lower intelligence...
that'a a +11, when you need a +9 for permanence.
Add in spell immunity/ greater spell immunity

or a contingency effect, to protect against dispelling

PAO doesn't change creature type.

Thanks guys for alll the helpfull advices. In the end your DM desided to rule ,,originall body,, in Cyclic Reincarnation descripton as a body they started with. Because its just for last game and he wants to everybody to enjoy themself and it would suck if one of the players was forced to play with sutch major penalty.
