Well, there was that Extemporaneous Channeler archetype in the Martial Arts handbook player companion. Ultimate Wilderness had that pretty neat Geomancer and Occult Historian archetypes.

Pretty sure they've gotten archteypes lately. Lately being within the last year or so.
Or at least, some have shown up online for them. I suppose they could be older older stuff that was only recently put up. I rarely check the source's release dates.
I know at some point in the last year, they got a different casting stat choice. assuming it wasn't just a delay anyway
I think it has some decent support honestly.
The only thing, I personally feel like it needs is spell reworking abit. The occultist spell list is the weakest part of the class, and is what I feel like ultimately limits the classes' customizatibility. Basically if you get a given school, you will almost always end up with the same gaggle of spells from it. There are just too few, and more so too few good ones.
and because of how it was designed, there doesnt' seem to be a way to incorperate newer material very easily. Sure random ones do show up on the list. But not as often as other 6th level casters.
I still wish that they had either don the Warpriest thing cutting off a normal 9th lv caster list. or had let them take from Bard and Magus. WHich would be reasonable considering the very specific and very limited scope of spells they can actually use.

Obviously the above things and more exist Eonfuzz. Non-zero content support. The Martial Arts Handbook was released in November last year BTW. What's your real problem - is it that there wasn't useful occultist material in the last couple of books you read or bought, or something like that?
Sorry, I should've expanded.
What I'm specifically talking about is a lack of new implements and focus powers. To me, those are the core identity of the class, and those specifically haven't had any form of new content.Whereas oodles of ghosts, herds of infusions and parades of gaze abilities have been added.

Besides the panoplies mentioned and sacred implements (Occult Origins, 2015 release admittedly) there are a bunch of archetype-specific things like a haunt collector's poessessed implements, A geomancer's geomantic focus, a psychodermist's trophies and manifest abilities, and some others that may not meet your precise criteria (but I think those 3 really should).
Beyond that - the occultist isn't the most popular class from a book that wasn't the most popular (psychic classes are about the most commonly banned in play by post games) and less content produced than for, alchemists/investigators is reasonable IMO. Even mesmerists are at least twice as popular as occultists I think. Spiritualists are about the same popularity and got about the same amount of support.
