So, I'l like to come up with a list of all the items that have specific weapon equivalents listed in their descriptions. There are quite a few I can think of, but I'm sure there are more that I don't know. Here's what I can think of offhand.
Item Name - Specific Weapon Similar To
Sledge Hammer - Earth Breaker
Crowbar - Club
Hammer - One handed improvised weapon does bludgeoning equal to spiked gauntlet
Miner's Pick - Heavy Pick
Torch - One handed improvised weapon does bludgeoning equal to gauntlet plus 1 fire
Shovel - Club
Iron Spike - Wooden Stake (oddly as called out in wooden stake's description)
Combat Scabbard - Dependent on weapon it sheathes
So, what have I missed?

Snapped Arrows or Broken Bows: 1d4 dagger or Wooden Stake
Pitons: 1d4 dagger
Curtains: Net
Chair: Club
Table: Greatclub
Drinking Stein: Small-sized Club (if broken, treat as Mere Club)
Book: small/med/lrg Club (change the dmg based on the size of the book)
Broken Glass from a Window: 1d4 dagger (50% chance to cause 1d2 to yourself)

Where to pitons say dagger? when I looked at them on AON it didn't list anything except to say they were like iron spikes.
Some references for the others would be awesome as well since I don't think the furniture have item descriptions of their own. I assume it comes from a section discussing improvised weapons?
Thanks :)

It doesn't say anything about Pitons being a dagger, but that's just what I consider it as if it's used as a stabby/throwy weapon, especially while climbing and there are spiders or something.
Edit: Oh, I didn't read the OP well enough. You're looking for specifically called out improvised weapons. I was just listing off how I would treat some improvised weapons.

It might? I was going by the item description which puts the scabbard in different weapon groups based on that it sheathes, it's in the hammer group if it's for a heavy blade, and a close weapon if it's for a light blade.

The weapon group changes, no doubt. But a Combat Scabbard isn't equivalent to a specific weapon, like a Fire Fountain.
