Eh not really I do a good job of submerging myself into the character and separating the character from the actor in my head. I feel like D&D/PF helped me with this.
Honestly if an actor could convince me his character was in love with a person he actually hated then I say hes doing a heck of a job.

I don't know about sad, but maybe a bit disappointed with the actors. I mean if you're going to be working alongside someone for a movie or tv series you should at least be able to get along outside the studio. But you hear about this sort of thing all the time and I guess I do admire their ability to hide the acrimony behind the script.

Yes, I find it sad--it's frustrating whenever you have to work with someone you don't like. I hope people are having as much fun working on a show a I enjoy watching it, so if I learn they aren't getting along, then they aren't having as much fun, are they?
And I don't blame them for not liking each other. Sometimes people just don't "click" --that's nobody's fault, I wouldn't blame anybody for that. Obviously if they can work together well enough to play parts that frequently share scenes, then they are doing their professional job of getting along with co-workers, but that's different from liking someone. There are people at work I don't personally like, but I will be civil and respectful to them because we're at work. It's still sad when that happens though.
But kudos to the actors in that case for selling the chemistry.

Sweden is nice. But Inga from Sweden is just how we look when we're abroad. Christine Daae from The Phantom of the Opera has a gobbledigook last name, and the Swedish form of Christine is Kristina.
Anyway. the reason actors often don't get along is that they are selected for personality disorders. Some seem better than this, while others embody it wholesale. And if you take a bunch of narcissists and histrionics, don't expect them to play nice with each other.

When there's some show/movie I like where two characters who are really good friends/lovers on the show but you find out the actors hated each other in real life. I don't know why it makes me so sad, I guess because it kind of breaks the illusion.
Aunt Bee hated Andy so Mayberry was not quite the Utopia we thought it was.
it does make me sad.

Also, regarding the thread topic, I'd like to say that despite the rumors floating around social media, DungeonmasterCal and I had a great time on set. He's a real professional, and a pleasure to work with. That video of me screaming and poo-flinging was a result of too much Red Bull and banana brandy and I certainly didn't mean any of those things I said. I even paid the dry cleaning bill for that unfortunate intern who got in the way.

I would like to give a SHOUTOUT to Charles Darwin and theories of survival of the fittest.
***I grab all Calvin's toys including his backpack. Turn and run home screaming like 1-year-old shedding toys at 10-foot intervals for the two block it took to get home. Since the backpack was the only thing left I open it. Monkey Santa pops out. I bowed down to "Darth Wannabe" crooning like e-wok who has seen C3-P0.***
What is your will, my Master?

Just think about this but I feel I need to give much respect to any actress who has had to play Eva Braun over the years. Imagine the challenge of having to pretend to be madly in love with Hitler.
Wow! That’s meta on meta!
It wasn’t really Hitler they were playing opposite, just some actor pretending to be Hitler.
I’m also amazed by some of the performances by people in real world relationships playing parts in the same production.
Chris Lambert and his wife played lovers in “Knight Moves.”

Dear Simian Literary Critic,
Analyze this!"He reads in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in his aspect and his eyes:
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o’er his face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.
And on that cheek, and o’er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!"
