Evil Outsiders and positive energy

Rules Questions

I know it was asked like seven years ago, but are evil outsiders considered to be operating on positive energy for the purposes of healing? I ask this question specifically because of Holy Water, which states that it is 'infused with positive energy', and damages both undead and evil outsiders. It could go either way in my book, but nothing else calls it out the way Holy Water does.

Silver Crusade

They are healed by positive energy. It's just the consecrated nature of Holy Water that harms the outsider.

Grand Lodge

Generally outsiders are living creatures and healed by positive energy, just as Val'bryn2 stated. Note there is a feat that can change this: Alignment Channel:

So, then, holy water is aptly named and poorly worded... It's technically a limited form of holy damage, rather than a form of positive energy, since it also doesn't heal.

holy\unholy water should be set out to do good\evil type damage instead of positive or negative.
