All right guys, you know the drill: I’ve just leveled up and I’m looking at Level 3 sorc spells. Any recommendations, must-haves, etc?
Naturally I’m liable to stick to tricksy, enchantments, or illusion spells, but I’ll consider other options—even if I just nab scrolls or wands.

Haste is absurdly combat effective.

Hmm, swarmbane scarab has got me thinking... I might go sword-crazy and get an adamantine rapier instead of the plume.

I play a lot of melee focused characters, and yes get the adamantine. You would be surprised how often hardness comes up. A +1 answering adamantine rapier will carry a swashbuckler through most anything.

I'll strongly consider Haste :P

Haste is a good one yes, Now I have to deck Fen out, I was thinking the +2Str/Dex belt for 10k

I have to finish grabbing spells for Urzaia, but once off them will be consecrate, and thanks to the 12 hr duration he'll cast it as soon as we get to the woods.

I was looking at the Bane Baldric but realised that Mivvy can't buy items above 10k unless she has them on a chronicle.

Mivvy will keep the ordinary feather in her fancy hat.
She now has an elaborate array with her favoured blade (the magical one) strapped to her hip while three others are slung over her shoulder (cold iron, silversheen, adamantine).
Thankfully, her Weapon Versatility feat lets her pierce, slash and bludgeon with the rapier.
Presumably, I will eventually enchant the adamantine blade and sell the +1 rapier.

No you're right I only have enough for 8k right now, well maybe I will buy something smaller and save up, I mean if we are getting 8k a module now then getting that next level won't be so bad. Fen isn't about huge dmg but that belt with Help my to hit and dmg.

Mivvy, you're correct. I was misremembering. The reliquary armor will double the effect of the spell but it can't carry it around.

I think I'll go ahead with Haste-- there's some trickster potential there, though there are a number of other spells I like.
I also get Misdirection with my new tail! ...Not sure how useful that is in PFS (but do tell me if I've overlooked some handiness!), but next level I get Invisibility and Suggestion, so!

@Kasumi; Volunteer to GM for the PBP GameDay VII Convention, and maybe you could get one. Either that, or offer me trade after August on boons and I may be interested. With how much I GM for conventions, I'll have a stockpile of boons when this s#!~ is done.

Worg, if you have a friend you play with frequently, I love the Nimble Guardian monk catfolk. I haven’t checked to see if it is PFS legal, but I played one of those one time and had a ball.

That said, I got it while I was still fairly new, so I didn't realize race boons were rare in general.
I mentioned to my wife that I could maybe get her a Catfolk boon if I GM'd, and she said that'd make her happy, soooooo where do I sign up?

@Worg I have a duskwalker, vine leshy, samsaran, or dhampir I can ship you if you are willing to part with the cat folk for Kasumi.
Also, I'm going to try and get in on that 12-15. I have a 15th level "rogue" that I would have fun pulling out again.

Urzaia I like this idea. If the circuit goes through for all 4 of these cons, and each offers a Catfolk, I'd gladly part with one for a Duskwalker. Then Vixie and her wife can be Catfolk together.
