It's kinda to GM discretion, but I'd definitely say that acting in a way that opens an enemy to your ally's attack would count as "Acting hostile". Technically it is augmenting an ally like a buff spell would be but it's a bit more of an active hand and the fact that it goes against the enemy's AC indicates it's a bit more actively involved.
And I feel like if you stayed invisible through this then your ally would have a hard time seeing and capitalizing on your help. XD
