Red Flags (spoilers) - Monks, Wall Running and Traps

So in the Red Flags section, the party consisted of two wizards, a bard, a barbarian, and an elven monk. During the trapped hallways, the party consistently avoided every trap just by the monk moving on the walls, with everyone but the monk inside the bags of holding, which, while funny, didn't really seem like an intended consequence. Also 10 min of air inside a bag of holding, between two creatures per bag, is a very long time, especially when the monk has 65ft movement and the Elf Step feat.

Has any other party had monks just parkour their way through problems, and the adventure just kind of shrug?

I guess that in PF1, the equivalent would be Fly or Dim Door or Teleport or something, so it's good to see the martials getting the Nice Things.

I use to see this a lot (minus the Wall Running) in 3.5 but not so much in Pathfinder First Edition. It's a funny tactic...but I don't mind it.

Honestly I think this sounds like a fun tactic that lets players feel clever.

we used bag of holdings as portable ways to move people around since...3rd edition? including pf1

so... what's new? that a monk jumped instead of "insert X party member with X means of transportation (up to including DD, teleport and flying)" do so?
