Gaining immunity removes condition?

Rules Questions

If character is under effect of fear gains "immune to fear" does this remove the condition? Remove fear specifically says that it "suppresses" the effect, but immunity says that "A creature that is immune does not suffer from these effects, or any secondary effects that are triggered due to an immune effect."
Or does the condition stay and return to full effect when immunity is lost?

No, if a creature gains an immunity to an effect after the effect is applies the effect is still on going and either dissipates before the immunity wears off(spell effect wears off).

Or the immunity dissipates before the effect wears off (delay poison with a duration of 1 hour on a poison that lasts 24 hours) will have the poison effect resume once the poison immunity wears off assuming the poison was administered before the poison immunity was in place.

However if a paladin contracts a disease at level 2 then levels up to level 3 they get immunity to that disease but they still have it and can spread it around to other people.

there's a long chat about this on the forum.
doomman47 has it, the jist being that the creature may have the condition but just doesn't suffer any bonuses/penalties from it.

Thanks! Thats probably the easiest way to keep things consistent.
