Monsters healing rate between encounters

I'm on the Mirrored Moon adventure, and between games, but I'm foreseeing an action between the dragon and the party.

The party is on it's way to the red dragon lair, and the Dragon is going to fly over them on the way to do the cyclopses damage, again. Seeing as the party looks to be a light snack, the dragon is likely going to take damage before wing over and returning home.

The characters will take a few days to get there, I'm just wondering what sort of healing rate a dragon, or any monster, would have between bouts? While we can assume the dragon has access to magical healing, in the form of items or what, I would like to find out what they might do otherwise to heal. Are we just talking healing checks via skill?

When you rest, you regain HP = CON Mod * Level. The dragon's level is next to its name in the bestiary and you can see its CON mod in the stat block. Multiply them and that's how many HP it gets from resting 8 hours, once per day.

There is no reason that intelligent monsters cannot have Treat Wounds or Combat Medic or Natural Medicine skill feats, but I don't think the game specifically allocates feats to monsters for this kind of stuff which means that, by default, no monster in all of Golarion can treat its wounds (I didn't check them individually so maybe some of them have this in their specific entry? Dragons don't).

For basic skill uses, like Treat Wounds (1.3 errata) you use the creatures basic proficiency (listed in the stat block) plus the modifier for the appropriate ability (WIS for Treat Wounds) and also add Expert if it's 5th level, Master if it's 9th level, and Legendary if it's 17th level (per rules in Bestiary). So it would have +26 on Treat Wounds. Assuming it has a medical kit, I don't see any reason that it couldn't use this ability given how smart it is.

It would be kinda funny to have the PCs show up at its lair and see it still wrapped in bloody bandages from treating its wounds...

I imagine PCs thinking the dragon has become a mummy dragon.
