So, as written at 8th level you can have one attack that misses you each round turn back on the attacker? I don't think that was the intend, but considering how poorly this book is written, Who knows?

It... doesn't sound like it's intended, but... yes?

It does seem to work that way. Barring that, you can send the attack over to your paladin companion to trigger his counter attack.

That's pretty cool. Deflect their attack onto their foot. I'd still rather have Dirty Tricks return and this be one of them.
