Noticed a couple of things that are going to affect my characters, so thought I would post a list of changes that may catch out a few people if they don't read AR. Just changes, not new material.
- UW snowball is now the only snowball.
- Read the FAQ on the website for how fitting armor works.
- UW Viking is now the only viking.
- Vine strike spell is legal but text is changed.
- Grizzly bears count as bears.
- Orc hornbows are neither shortbows or longbows, they are their own item.
- Yes, a magus can use spellstrike and spell combat with Dervish Dance. A spell doesn't count as a shield or weapon for purposes of having an empty hand.
- Alchemical allocation can now only affect potions and elixirs with a value of 150 gp per caster level of alchemical allocation, maximum 1000 gp. (Time to finally say goodbye to my CL12 barkskin potion I've drunk about a dozen times.)

- UW snowball is now the only snowball.
Specifically, the other legal sources had their text "clarified" to be the same as that in UW.
Also, wasn't there a blog post or something saying that existing Snowball users could make a one-time choice whether it was conjuration or evocation? I can't find it now, but I know something was posted.
- UW Viking is now the only viking.
The original viking is on pages 24-25 of People of the North. According to the HTML Additional Resources, that's still legal. This might be because the "PRD" hadn't been updated when the AR update was written, and the entry in UW is supposed to make it illegal, but that's not clear.
- Vine strike spell is legal but text is changed.
Melee Tactics Toolbox is still a legal source for the spell. However, a "clarification" (rewrite) of the spell was added... to Magic Tactics Toolbox. Probably a bug.

To clarify something, the Magus being able to use Spell Combat (and Spellstrike) with Dervish Dance is a campaign specific exception. With how the rules interact and various readings of how it should/should not be, it is best to let it be as it was used by many of PFS players.
Thank you to the team for letting this one pass, as it gets heated with this subject and how a free hand seems to be subjective.
Let us do some fancy footwork!!

Hmm. This means that the Pathfinder Reference Document is considered updated?
Contents in this book will appear in an upcoming update of the Pathfinder Reference Document, at which point the versions in this book will replace any earlier versions (see the list below); at that time, characters are expected to update to use the new rules or rebuild as laid out in Chapter 2 of the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide. Modified gear—including ioun stones whose resonance powers changed—can be sold back at its full market price. Further updates and allowances specific to a particular character option may appear in the Pathfinder Society General Discussion forum on paizo.com. Until then, both versions of the character option are legal for play.
Goodbye tribal scars, now I have to decide between toughness and fleet...

Still no Planar Adventures either. You’d think that they would include a nearly 3 month old hardcover in the first AR update in the last 6 months.
The team reviews items, compiles the data, then hands it off for publication. We had a choice to pull the already queued update or to make a new one that included the next batch of items. We decided to leave the document in queue to facilitate getting the info to players.
