'counts as Power Attack for prerequisites'

Advice

I hope this is the correct forum.

I'm wondering if there are any feats (or abilities, but I think this is less likely) that count as Power Attack for purpose of meeting prerequisites that require it.

I ask because I have a monk who has Jabbing Style and will be getting Jabbing Master eventually. The fluff of the style says 'quick strikes/punches' which to me, is the exact opposite of Power Attack. So I'm hoping there is a different feat I could use, that is (hopefully, but unlikely) more thematic, to qualify for Jabbing Master.

If not, is there a feat that would be more fitting thematically that you could suggest, that I could propose to my GM instead of PA?

see if your gm would allow piraha strike insted~?
it work a bit like power attack but dex themed and has this fluff text :
"You make a combination of quick strikes, sacrificing accuracy for multiple, minor wounds that prove exceptionally deadly." which seem fit for jabbing style (a lot more then power attack in my opinion)

Yes! That would definitely work thematically.

Do you think it would be unbalanced to have it work as a prerequisite for all PA needed things? I personally don't think so considering it is weaker than PA.

Why can't power attack be fast?

Think Mike Tyson in his prime

Power Attack: You can make exceptionally deadly melee attacks by sacrificing accuracy for strength.

Jabbing Style: A cluster of quick strikes deals more damage than a single roundhouse swing.

Piranha Strike: You make a combination of quick strikes, sacrificing accuracy for multiple, minor wounds that prove exceptionally deadly.

I'd say compare Mike Tyson to Bruce Lee. I'd say Mike is using PA while Bruce would be PS. (Not that Bruce was not strong, but it was tuned in a different direction than Mike.)

For the purpose of jabbing style I think piranha strike is a suitable substitute.

However I wouldn't say that for all feats that require it, not buy a long shot.

If they serve a similar function, why not (from your perspective)?

well most of the time power attack is a part of feat tree that relay mainly on str. jabbing was the execptional tree. (look at cleave and other such feats that have power attack as requirment).
and here i would tottaly agree with what Cavall said above. :

"For the purpose of jabbing style I think piranha strike is a suitable substitute.

Because none of the other things that require power attack, for my prospective, match jabbing style even remotely. It's too much to bend.
