Fighter multi attack and feats questions

Classes

I'm confused on how the feats for Fighters work with multiple attacks in the same turn.

For instance, Double Shot:make 2 strikes, each against a separate target and at a -2 penalty. Apply multiple attack penalty to attacks only after the 2nd strike. So if I make a 3rd attack that turn, what is the penalty for it? If I don't make it, are my only penalties for the double shot -2 each? And Double Shot is a 2 action feat correct?

How does Triple Shot work? The wording confuses me, if I can add an additional action to Double Shot to make 3 strikes at -4 each, how can you or why would there be a multiple attack penalty after the 3rd attack if you only have 3 actions?

Nothing so far in this playtest edition seems streamlined for a beginner or easier than 1st edition pathfinder.

Multiple attack penalty (p305)

First attack = normal bonus
Second attack action = normal bonus - 5
Third attack action = normal bonus-10

Double shot:
Double shot action = two attacks at - 2 (you ignore the second attack penalty)
Third action attack = normal bonus - 10

For triple shot: you can acquire a forth action in some circumstances (spells,...), your fourth attack would be at - 10 (cannot go lower than - 10)

Double shot. You take two shots at -2. After that, you apply the standard multiple attack penalty. (page...305).

Since you've made two strikes, your multiple attack penalty (MAP) is -10.

Note that Double Shot also has the Open tag, so you can't make any attacks before you use it.

---
For Triple Shot, yes you make three attacks at -4. This also sets your MAP to -10. If some casts haste spell (or something similar), you can get the Quick trait, and have a 4th action. That's why it mentions the MAP, just in case something gives you another attack.

-----

Multiple attack penalty is referenced all over the fighter, but only actually cited (with a page reference) in Double Slice. It should really be in the sidebar of Key Terms.

Cross reference is a pain in this document. Something that definitely needs to be addressed.

isn't iterative capped at -10?
