I have read the faq and I am a bit confused.
How much of the campaign setting will change with PF2? Will all the lore still be true? How much value will the campaign setting books hold in 2nd edition? (Rather than some/most of the rule content out of date, incompatible) .
Are there plans to rerealse this content for 2nd edition or is the lan to continue to expand and update the setting (With all the previous lore/content/locations still being viable) ?
Golarion has always been my favorite part of Pathfinder . I would love to keep the value in my collection of books (and use them in 2nd edition) and hope this is gonna be possible!

Don’t worry, you’re good. They’re not making any huge, world-altering changes, so your lore books are still relevant. Taldor will be on a more upward trajectory and the Worldwound is sealed, but it’s not like Taldor is a huge empire again or the Worldwound doesn’t have tons of demons still running around.

I imagine they will look at the APs and go for some element of the "mega happy" ending, which is the most interesting but makes the fewest changes.
Other than that, expect few changes. Honestly, they'll probably make fewer changes than I would like, opting to keep things as is rather than updating things to reflect the passage of a decade.

Runelords all dead. Ruins of Thassilion intensively investigated all over the place.
New rulers in Korvosa.
Cheliax without one province.
Taldor with a first queen.
Worldwound closed.
New Queen of Irissen, possibly Baba Yaga forced to left the world forever, so time for proper legitimacy.
Avistani colonisation of Azlant and Smoking Sea, maybe finally more focus on Arcadia.
Ameiko as queen of Minkai?
Glorious Reclamation anihilated.
Some fallout in Numeria after fall of Starfall.
