Wizard + summoned Monsters + magic attacks

Rules Questions

Ciao everyone!
How many ways to give magic attacks to the monsters you summon as a wizard?
I'm interested especially in how to make natural attacks become magical.

Thanks :)

Easiest option is the Magic Fang spell line.

Yes, I agree...but magic fang isn't on the wizard list...

Do you have any other advice?

Thanks!

The Exchange

evolved summon monster feat

UMD Wand of Magic Fang.
The above mentioned feat is good, but only for one monster. Unless you take the feat multiple times.

Perhaps a custom magic item that would grant the effect of an Amulet of Mighty Fists to a summoned creature?

Allying weapon or AoMF would work, but you would have to decide how to divy up the enhancement bonus to various natural weapons. Gauntlet would be a good choice for a weapon so you can still hold something in that hand.

Sunlight Summons feat will do it, but you need a way to add Summon Nature's Ally to your spell list.

There are several ways to do this, e.g. take at least 1 level in the Collegiate Arcanist prestige class.

Hang out with a Spellwarrior Skald.

Summon a critter with DR/Magic. Any such critter automatically treats its natural weapons as magic for bypassing DR (Bestiary 1 p 299).

Thanks for all the info.

As to the above, wow... That is a nice bit. Not many creatures have that, but it's very clever.
I also like the evolved Monster feat option!
I dIdn't spend points in UMD :(

Check out the Proxy Summoning feat. Let your summon be your toucher for your spell.

I might have to give that a try with swarms.
