I'm looking for players for a new online Pathfinder game.
Saturday mornings US Central time would be my preferred time for running 3-hour sessions (9:00 AM to noon would be ideal). Sessions would usually be planned for 2 or 3 alternating Saturdays per month, with occasional back-to-back Saturday sessions planned based on the group's schedules.
Game sessions would be run using the D20PRO virtual tabletop program (d20pro.com) along with Skype for voice chat. The D20PRO software is available as a free download and I have six guest licenses so players can also connect to my game for free.
For this game, I would like to run a campaign made up of loosely-connected modules set in the Pathfinder world of Golarion, as opposed to running a formal Adventure Path.
If a game like this interests you, please reply to this thread (or send me a private message) and I will send you a private message with more information.
Thanks,
GM Budman

I'm still looking for players.
Instead of Saturday mornings I could do alternating Sunday mornings US Central time (I attend local PFS sessions two alternating Sundays per month). Alternating Saturday or Sunday evenings are other possibilities, if players cannot do morning sessions.
Please reply if interested.

i am intersted in a game. I love to play hard hitters like a Barbarian or a Monk, but I can gladly play a caster, like an Arcanist, Oracle or Cleric. That all said, I would rather play in Skype or Discord as I am not familiar with D20PRO...that said, I am willing to "give it a fair shake". Let me know.

I would be interested in joining your game. I'm also not familiar with D20Pro, so you may need to be patient with me at first. However, I am familiar with Pathfinder, and weekend mornings/days are perfect for me. I don't mind playing any particular class, race, or role, but I'm not a fan of games that are too edgy or strict. Please let me know if there's room.

Thinking that it might help recruitment, following are the general character creation rules that I'd ask players to follow when creating their PCs:
A first-level character with 0 XP, a non-evil alignment, and either 150 gp or average starting gold for his or her class (whichever is greater) to spend on weapons, armor, equipment, and supplies shall be created.
Ability scores shall be purchased using 20-point-buy (High Fantasy).
First-level HP shall be the full hit die of the character’s selected class plus the character’s con modifier.
The character shall select a favored class. Whenever the character takes a level in their favored class, the character gains one additional HP, one additional Skill Point, or some other (possibly fractional) benefit if a qualifying racial- or archetype-based favored class bonus is selected (character’s choice).
All core rulebook races are allowed. Additionally, the following bestiary races (without racial hit dice) are allowed: Aasimar and Tiefling. The Drow, Noble Drow, Duergar, Goblin, Hobgoblin, Kobold, Merfolk, Orc, Svirfneblin and Tengu races are not allowed.
All core rulebook classes are allowed. Additionally, the following are allowed:
the base classes defined in the Advanced Player's Guide (with the exception of the Summoner class)
the Magus base class and the expanded class options and archetypes defined in Ultimate Magic
the expanded class options and archetypes defined in Ultimate Combat (but not the Gunslinger class)
the alternate racial traits, racial favored class options and racial archetypes defined in the Advanced Race Guide (Chapter 1 only)
the hybrid classes, racial favored class options, and the core and base class options and archetypes defined in the Advanced Class Guide
the Barbarian, Monk, Rogue and Summoner classes defined in Pathfinder Unchained
the base classes, racial favored class options, archetypes and feats defined in Occult Adventures
the Vigilante base class, archetypes and feats defined in Ultimate Intrigue
the Shifter base class and the archetypes, feats, animal companions and familiars defined in Ultimate Wilderness
The character shall select two traits from among the following sources: the basic Pathfinder trait categories or sub-categories, regional traits from the Inner Sea Primer, or race and regional traits from Chapter 1 of Ultimate Campaign. Note that the “Rich Parents” trait is not allowed.
The medium XP progression will be used.
Base HP for each even level shall be the (class hit die / 2). Base HP for each odd level starting at level 3 shall be the (class hit die / 2) + 1. So, for example, a class with a d8 hit die would gain the following base HP at each level:
Level 1: 8
Level 2: 4
Level 3: 5
Level 4: 4
Level 5: 5, and so on.
Finally, note that Player Character options presented in other Paizo, Inc. and/or third-party Pathfinder products not listed above may be allowed on a case-by-case basis with prior GM approval.

Following is what I am considering for the starting campaign location and adventure.
Your party has arrived in the small town of Graymane, located about 100 miles northeast of New Stetven in the northeastern Avistan nation of Brevoy. Graymane sits along the northern bank of the headwaters of the East Sellen River, which flows southwesterly through the center of the Gronzi Forest and into Lake Reykal, where it then continues to flow south into the eastern River Kingdoms.
You have received word that a logging consortium out of Graymane is looking for adventurers to assist them in reclaiming a forward logging camp, which has recently been abandoned. The locals widely accept that the forest is cursed or haunted-—protected by a spirit of the wilds. Even the most seasoned hunters and trappers know not to venture too far into the forest.

Is there a specific PF AP Players Guide I should look at? Any classes you suggest? Lastly, do you allow drawbacks and flaws?
As I indicated in my initial post, I am looking to run a campaign consisting of loosely strung together modules, not a formal Pathfinder Adventure Path. Having said that, based on my campaign's starting location in Brevoy, you could look at the Kingmaker AP Players Guide for ideas since that AP begins in the same region.
I don't have any specific class suggestions, as long as the party ends up with a balanced mix of classes.
I'm OK with your PC taking an extra (3rd) trait along with a drawback if you want to do that, but it is not required.

I will probably play a kineticist. Would I be restricted to wild talents from the listed rulebooks as well? For example the elemental whispers talent is from Horror Adventures, so would I not be able to take it? Also just clarifying: races and their racial favored class bonuses from books other than occult adventures would be allowed? Specifically I'm considering Leshy race introduced in Ultimate Wilderness.
Also I assume we are sticking to the generic rules right? Like one feat at every odd level, no feat tax rules, standard wealth, etc.?

What would be the style of this game (e.g. heavy RP, combat, exploration, etc.)?
I'm hoping to run the game such that it has an "old school" feel while still maintaining a balance between RP, exploration and combat.
Would custom story elements be allowed? (more for flavor not mechanics)
Yes, I plan to incorporate elements from the PCs' backstories into the progressing campaign.
Anything you can tell us about your GM style?
When I run an AP, I try to keep things "by the book" for the most part, but for this game I'm looking to allow both myself and the PCs more freedom to alter and affect the development and progression of the campaign storyline.
How would I characterize my GM style? I try to be fair when applying the rules, but will allow creative solutions by the PCs to bend the rules every now and then. While in combat, I like to keep the action going and I expect all players to be paying attention so when their turn comes up they are ready to go. When playing online I expect players to be punctual and ready to start at the announced time. If a player is unable to make a scheduled session I expect them to respect the rest of us and let us know in advance if possible.
I'd be happy to answer more specific questions if they would help to define my GM style for you.

I am interested in applying. Any information you need from me I will gladly provide (via PM if you prefer).
Please PM me your email address and I will send setup instructions for playing online with D20PRO.
Assuming Michael Johnson and Gnobel are still in, your addition to the game leaves room for up to two more players.

Update: a player has left the game so we have an opening for one or two more players.
The party currently consists of the following four first level PCs:
female half-elf paladin of Osiris
male halfling swashbuckler
no gender angel-blooded aasimar (angelkin) cleric (divine paragon, merciful healer) of Sarenrae
male halfling kineticist
The PCs have almost reached Level 2. Our next session is scheduled for Saturday, 7/21 from 10 AM to 1 PM CDT.
If you are interested in joining the game please reply in this thread and/or send me a Private Message.
Thanks,
GM Budman
