Advice

my friend has convinced me to play this game (never plated dice games before). i already made a druid with your guys help, but his group is having me make back uo characters for when/if i die.
there letting me use 3rd party stuff. so i want to make a Malefactor

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/3rd-party-classes/total-party-kill-games-cl asses/malefactor#TOC-Malediction-Sp-

i like the idea of a bad luck class.

but what feats/skills do i take for this kind of guy?

oh and my race is going to be Grippli.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Woah there buddy. First time playing a "dice game" and you want to use a 3rd party class with an obscure race? You might want to rethink your idea and do something more simple.

Then again I don't know anything about any 3pps, so this class could be simple for all I know.

whats wrong with the frog dudes?

and i like bad luck themed classes

3pp is not allowed by some GMS and it has the stigma of being unbalanced.

Even though the most unbalanced things in all of Pathfinder are found in the Core Rulebook (like the Simulacrum spell).

Grippli isn't all that out there as far as "weird" races go. They're pretty easy to run.

but the gm said i could i just not really sure what kinda feats would be good for that class

Looking at the class, anything that boosts your HP, saves, etc... it humps it's own face while it humps everyone else's, and you have to be pretty close to your enemies to make it work.
