Having a companion of some sort helps with melee damage. A hunter can be pretty solid there and gets good skills and effective magic to back them, or a series of dips around that theme can produce a good result too.
A kineticist can do excellent damage and a telekineticist has powers which can work well with their skills.
A druid 4 multiclassed with something else and the shaping focus feat can do some horrific damage. Depending on what the something else is you might be good with skills too - an unchained rogue/druid taking air elemental shape could be effective. A monk/druid/weapon master fighter was the last variation on this theme I saw and was pushed more towards damage, which it apparently did well - ask Atalius for details.

I can vouch for this build avr speaks of, and basically all his builds. The one he specifically put together for me was a monk1/druid4/weaponmasterfighterX combo with shaping focus. He put together this monstrosity known as Monktopus (a wildshaped giant lake octopus) with 9 attacks, doing approximately 350 damage a round, 30ft of reach, and grab on 8 tentacles. His saves were all solid as well. He will fulfill your damage requirement no problem, however he foes become fairly skill starved once you start dipping levels into fighter. Caution though, you may trivialize encounters. Be careful what you wish for. This is just one of several builds he has built for me. When this gentlemen speaks, you listen.

Oh and you may not even care about skill points when your slapping guys around with your tentacles, one rounding them. Good luck in all your tentacle slapping endeavours.
If you happen to have a Cleric in your party with the Luck domain, if he uses the domain power Bit of Luck on you, your GM will weep.
