Take ALL the Revelations!

Rules Questions

So.
Revelations and the Extra Revelations feat.

1 Mystery = 10 Revelations
Gain the Revelation class feature 6 times
Gain 10 feats via leveling
+1 feat from being human

That's 9 Revelations by the time you've reached 10th level, (although some require you to be higher than 10th level to take).

What do you do when it's time to get a Revelation, but there are no Revelations left for you to take?

Stare in disappointment at your character sheet due to wasting most of your level up.

I'd say begging your GM to let you get a bonus feat in compensation would be an option, but I'd figure most of them will be less than charitable since it's not like you didn't see this coming...

Cry, maybe add some bemoaning of your actions that brought you to such a fate.

but you just get nothing.

I'd let you automatically retrain your Extra Revelation feat on level-up in that case, but I'm a pretty lenient GM in that regard. Others would likely be less than generous.

It's a bit like the case of core-only Wizards back in the day when one of your level-up spells had to be from your specialty school. With the fairly slim core-only list it was actually a realistic possibility that you could have learned every spell of your specialty school.

Retrain.

I'd say that you should just take the Spirit Guide Oracle archetype, and spend the rest of your feats on extra hexes.
