Hello all, I wanted to check something.
So I was building a student of war, when I realized the DEX requirement for dodge. I figured a quick fix was the feat Artful Dodge, but I need to double check this.
Special: The Artful Dodge feat acts as the Dodge feat for the purpose of satisfying prerequisites that require Dodge.
So artful dodge lets you skip dodge as a prerequisite for feats. Is it just feats? Can I use this to fulfill the requirements for student of war? Or is it only feats?
Thanks for the help.

Lacking Pathfinder specific definitions, they are interchangeable.
You might be correct that they are used as words rather than rule terms however due to the placement of the text I would err on the side of them being terms rather than synonymous words. Definitely hope you are right here and my caution is unneeded. Would make for some interesting options.

My mistake. I assumed his quote of "So artful dodge lets you skip dodge as a prerequisite for feats." was true when it seems like it is not. If it was true that it said for feats then it was for feats only. Since it's lacking that yes, it's all things that require dodge.

That's the main function of Artful Dodge, though. To let you use INT instead of DEX.
"You can use Intelligence, rather than Dexterity, for feats with a minimum Dexterity prerequisite."
EDIT: I should say most useful function. The main function is probably technically the AC bonus. But the real power of the feat is using INT to meet DEX prereqs. Counting as Dodge is just a bonus.
