Unless you streak fast enough to break the sound barrier?

No sonic boom in space, no air to compress. No sound barrier either since no sound in space.

That depends on what color you pick for it. If you wear a Second Skin with a color different from your own skin color, it is obvious that you are not naked.

Because SOMEONE went granular, we now have to deal with naked Starfinders because they're too cheap to buy clothing (!!!) or are displaying an exhibitionist ideal?
...please just give everyone a horrible set of bright orange coveralls if they don't want to buy a basic outfit.

But that would also be the sound of most halfling running across the ground... since they typically don't wear shoes... does that mean they are always streaking?

That's IF folks have day jobs. That's a big 'if' in some cases with a possible dearth of skill points...
In the limited amount of scenarios we've had so far, Professions have been much more useful and flexible than nearly any PFS scenario I've played or run. Added onto the fact that you can flex them to whatever mental stat you have best (and there's no benefit to 777'ing in Starfinder) and taking 10 generally means you get 22 credits per scenario, there's much more reason to divert a single point to it, if not more.

Except you only get one downtime activity between each scenario, and rolling a day job is just one of the choices. Already there is one scenario that gives you a boon to do that takes 6 downtime activities to complete.
I didn't notice the professional clothing before. 5 credits for a +1 pays for itself in 2.5 rolls.
Interesting that formal wear is also cheap and instead of a bonus, everyone gets a penalty if they don't wear it to a formal event.
