Standard, swift, free and move can be used in any order you wish. For full round actions you can take a 5 foot step, other free actions and swift actions before, after or in the middle of your full round action.
Some GMs might put restrictions on swift actions in the middle of a full round such as not allowing a quickened true strike to be cast just before making the lowest iterative attack.

You may take a swift action any time you could take a free action. No specific order is imposed.
While mostly true, it is important to note that you cannot take swift actions when it is not your turn, even though you can take some free actions off turn.
Almost no rule is absolute. Welcome to Pathfinder!

But there is the immediate action, which works like a swift action except that it can be taken when it's not your turn (most immediate actions are "reaction" type abilities triggered by something an opponent did). Exception upon exception :-)
