Greetings, I've a PFS Shaman lvl 5 whom i have no idea what to do with, as she is a mostly inactive as a GM credit hoarder. I planned her mostly as a support caster, so her stats are 10 Str/14 Dex/13 Con/12 Int/18 Wis/13 Cha [Human].
I do plan on picking up an Improved Familiar... but other than that, who knows.
My friend pointed out the Spiritual Guardian feat to possibly make the Spiritual Weapon "better."
So, my question is- would this feat be worthwhile for a caster-focused Shaman? Her offense is mostly the Slumber hex she acquired via Extra (Witch) Hex.
I said she is a support caster, so I've don't plan on her being in combat.

If you have access to spiritual ally, I think it is worth it. I wouldn't take it for spiritual weapon by itself.
I think it would be worth it on spiritual ally since the spell is essentially a standard action summon spell. It flanks, can take AoO's, perfect fly speed, has very few methods of removal, bypasses all Dr, and has a crit range based on your deity's favored weapon. It does have to go through Sr, but the feat helps with that.

In pfs I would say yes it diversifies what you can do. I was in a sticky spot with a group poorly optimized for damage against elementals, ghosts and ghost elementals. They ate rough for sneak attackers.
There was a fight where I threw out a spiritual ally and 2 spiritual weapons with 2 attacks each, it wasn't best solution but it worked. It would have been nearly unless with out the feat as these spells tend to miss a lot. A powerful spiritual ally is a good way to deal with ghosts.
