What conventions are going to have lots of PFACG play 2019?

Hi Guys

I had a great time playing PFAG AT paizoCon 2018 in Seattle and looking to be back this year
Are there any other good conventions with lots of PFACG play?
Looking to schedule my physical game fixes for this year
Recommendations appreciated

It would help if you said where you are located and/or where and when you're willing to travel to what kinds of events.

The obvious suggestion is Gen Con; you've missed the housing lottery but there's plenty of time to make arrangements of one kind or another.

Con of the North is in the Twin Cities of Minnesota next weekend and will have a couple tables of the card game for most of the convention, but I doubt anyone not within close driving distance would plan to attend.

Skalcon in September (assuming they do it again in 2019) is a PFS-only event here in MN that will have card game tables for the weekend.

I've been to a few other local game conventions here in the US Upper Midwest (including Nexus Game Fair, Gamehole Con, and Nuke-Con) but the card game hasn't had much of a presence at any of them.

Also, the beauty of the PACG is if you bring your box with you, you can almost always wrangle up some pick-up game play of PACG even if its not on the schedule. Most conventions have an open play/board game area that is well suited for something like this. Sanctioned Organized Play card game can be more challenging if its not on the schedule, but if you're just looking to play casually, its fairly easy to do so.

Thanks for the responses.
Based in Jacksonville FL, however willing to travel nationwide for a solid weekend of quality PFACG
For PaizoCon 2018 I managed to get 100% PFACG and thoroughly enjoyed it
Been to GenCon once in 2008 when I played Legend of the 5 Rings however found in a bit too large for me
Will check out the cons you mentioned

Check out the coordinator's page HERE. There is a very active organized play community there including IIRC PACG. Talk with the local Venture-Officers and they can direct you to both conventions and local gamedays.

Other than Gen Con I wouldn't bother with the ones I mentioned; they're nowhere near you and don't offer enough of the card game to make a large trip worthwhile on that alone. You should be able to find equivalent local ones via the VOs, your FLGSes, or through Internet searches.

Were you part of the table that powered through three Adventure Decks of Faction's Favor?

Yes, the middle aged guy with#1 Shave haircut :-)

Really enjoyed the game play we got in
Were you there?

Thanks for that!

I played Radillo! I had a feathered cap one of the days.

Like many conventions, I remember the people at the table best by the characters they were playing. Who were you playing again?

Convention gaming is tough for card players. ACG stories and rewards are much more linear than RPG and it isn't as easy to drop in and out of games. The game is best with a dedicated group playing through together. If you want to do another PFSACG marathon together, I would help make it happen.

Conventions:
PretzCon - Omaha, NE Apr 12-14
PaizoCon! May 24-27
KantCon - Kansas City Jul 19-21
GenCon! Aug 1-4
NukeCon - Omaha, NE Oct 4-6

Cool, didn't you also play Alase as well?

Gave me lots of inspiration and Alase was my second society character
I was playing Rahali
Will check the cons out and get back on pm

Yup! I played Alase for AD1. I haven't played her much since, so I'd love to hear how she plays for you.

I hope something works out for you. (And anyone else interested in a full weekend of ACG play, hit up the PMs).
