Sitting in Sea-Tac, waiting to board my flight.
I had a wonderful time this year. I go to Paizo Con to renew friendships and make new ones. I was successful at both this year.
To all of the wonderful people I met who work in the warehouse, all of you are true paragons of humanity. Thank you for all of the hard work you do that none of us ever see. Thank you.

I had a wonderful breakfast with Andrew Hoskins, Tineke, Therry, Bret, and James Krolak. We discussed favorite custom dungeons of Tome, and the story of how Andrew Hoskins came to freelance for Paizo. It was very entertaining.
We'll be leaving on our train this afternoon, but for now Earl has resumed the Ire of the Storm game he was GMing for us on the train.

The Inventory Tracking Sheet is already used to annotate retraining and other character changes. Notating boon use is not unreasonable. Plus, even if you are entirely digital, you should be getting a chronicle at the end of the session you use the boon. The use can be notated there.How does this work with all the boons that are crossed off after use or that have boxes to check?Nils, no one asked. It was announced pretty close to the end of the seminar time, and none of the attendees thought quickly enough about the implications. I presume there will be paragraph text in the Guide explaining the accounting and tracking procedures beyond a quick panel announcement. You know, sometimes I think we don't play "Math-finder" as much as we play "Accountant: The RPG."
I think there is a good argument to be made to allow digital ITS as well, so noting it on a physical/digital chronicle sheet, that later gets added to the collection, might be the easiest solution.

Though I had to leave early Monday, I did leave with a lot of good memories and am pleased to see this thread has so many contributors, both attendee and not. Hopefully, it might inspire some other new attendees and contributors next year. If they are anything like GM Hmm, Woran, and Nomadical, we'll have a good thread next year too.
I loved meeting the new attendees, but moreso, it is always good to hang and speak with old friends again. From my first bfast with W. Kristof Nolen to another breakfast with GM Feral, and then with GM Verdigris, I recall again why PFS is a community what is important in life (outside of the lamentations of the minnesotans).
+1 to Tonya for putting on a good Con. I barely saw her this year, but when I did she was either working or having fun. I hope we'll have time to chat and hang next time.
+1 to JCompton for his efforts as well. You were hilarious in the Trivia Contest.
+1 to Thursty for being thirsty and Thursty. Your chaotic bene/malevolence is a necessary ingredient in this community. You're a good counterpoint to those who take these things too seriously and I'm excited for your involvement in SFS.
To the Minnesota Crew: thanks for existing. You guys are the best. Glad I had a chance to hang out with 95% of you, only missing Andrew Christain (though I had game time with Di). Got to play with Jack & Keith. Dinner with JD & Ryan & Brent. You guys rock all that there is to rock.
To Lamplighter: you're still the best. You're a solid force for good in the Community.
To Al Rigg: congrats on the new award. I can't think of a more deserving yahoo to get it.
To GM Motteditor: Glad you came and hope you had fun.
To Kate Baker: Players like you are the future of PFS and Organized Play. Good luck with running Starfinder at GenCon.
To Pirate Rob: I never regret seeing you. And every time I do, I find more things to laugh at and enjoy in life and in this game.
To the ACG crew: Jon, Preston, Shelley, David: Thanks for helping me play a ton of ACG this weekend. You guys were all great and helpful in explaining the game and organizing tables.
To Todd freakin' Morgan: It was just good to see you.
To Walt Shep: you rock. You rocked it all weekend.
To Andrew Hoskins: I always forget how funny you are. You killed me every time I saw you. Your 'fight' with Tonya in the trivia contest just added to my opinion of you.
To Gary Pepper: I hope I haven't seen the last of you. I know you're all alone up in Lake County, but I believe in you.
To others I haven't mentioned here: I hope I've mentioned you in previous posts. Thanks for contributing to my PaizoCon experience. There are so many people that impacted me and that I was happy to see again but I can't remember them all.
Wouldn't be a PaizoCon without a list of regrets: I regret:
- Not spending more time in the bar. Usually I do, but this time I didn't. Would have been good to speak with more people.
- Not staying through to Tuesday. I should have.
- Not seeing Sarah from Idaho or Tanis. Sarah didn't come and Tanis no longer works with Paizo. I miss their ACG energy.
- Not sitting and hanging with J.Choi/Oni and/or Nizari/Andrew a bit. I meant to. Sorry!
- Not meeting as many new players as I usually do. Next time.
- Meh. This is a sufficient list of regrets.
Highlights? Sure.
#1: Cartmanbeck's face when Selinker joined us at the table.
#2: Meeting GM Hmm & Woran.
#3: See the Minnesota Crew again.
#4: Playing the ACG while the PFS Special was happening. It was clear how much fun the PFS players were having.
#5: The fun stuff during the Preview Banquet.

I'm on the train out of town, so I'm betting that wi-fi will die on my at any moment.
A few great highlights:
#1 Having a mutual squee-fest with Chris Lambertz where both of us were bouncing up and down because we were so happy to see each other.
#2 Meeting Painlord, even though on Saturday morning he told me "You're dead to me. You don't blog, I have no idea you even exist."
#3 Having the silent squee where Kate Baker and I turned to each other during the banquet and just jumped up and down in our seats as the background of the Starfinder Society was revealed. We both seriously geeked out in the best possible way. Kate, you are a delight.
#4 Coming up with a pun so AWFUL that it forced John Compton to leave our table at the banquet (because he had to share it with Diego.)
#5 Meeting the best group of people EVER. I love all of you. You're even better in person, and I hope to see you all again either at GenCon or next year. Thanks for coming up and saying hi.
#6 Tineke and Therry. Paizo employees -- the wonderful people who work so hard to give us all the game we love. Jon Dehning's swans, heck Dehning himself.
#7 Mark and Linda for just sitting and listening to all of Bret's and my PSA feedback. You two rock, always.

PaizoCon was amazing, and it was great seeing many of my friends again and meeting a lot of new people. These amazing people include (but are not limited to) Paizo staff, fellow freelancers & RPG Superstar fans, Minnesotans, and PFS players and venture officers from around world (Australia, Canada, England, the Netherlands, as well as the USA). Thank you for making PaizoCon the awesome convention that it is!
Also, it was a great honor to be mentioned as a special guest at the preview banquet, thank you, Paizo!! ^_^
Now back in Finland and trying to get adjusted to GMT +2...

I finally have time at a PC to address a few highlights of the weekend.
At the top, as always, seeing Painlord, Al Riggs, Alex Greenshields, and the New Orleans crew rank near, if not at, the top of list. As does getting to chat with Mark Moreland, who will always be my favorite Paizo employee now that Liz Courts is off doing her own thing. Getting to meet Mikko and Andrew Hoskins and discussing their own scenarios was also way up there.
I enjoyed getting to play with some of my regulars I see only once a year at Paizo Con, but also getting to play with Earl, who is my favorite player of all time because his crazy builds come with an equally crazy personality.
Playing Starfinder was a treat, as was learning that I may actually like the game. Playing Starfinder with James Sutter and meeting not only Space Goblins but Space Drow was amazing. His reaction of, "um...okay, I guess that can work" when I dropped the smoke grenade will always be a fond memory of my own. That's what smoke grenades are for!
I ran two "official" off-session games for the convention and loved both. Seeing new players enjoy Portent's Peril was great, but I really enjoyed my table of To Seal the Shadow. I don't care what people say, get the right table of players (Pirate Rob, I'm looking at you), and everything in that scenario begins to click. Thanks for making GMing one of the highlights of the convention.
I loved getting to play Tyranny of Winds with two of the same players through all three parts - I didn't expect to find somebody with the same schedule I had. A particular shout out to Stephen Wight Part 2, who made the outright awful experience of the other two bearable by putting on a great game.
After the second of the aforementioned awful experiences, I had a great time GMing a the random table to get everybody to the same level for the special (you'll have to forget my horrible memory for names, but I'll always remember your faces!). A quick run-through of Tome of Righteous Repose was exactly what we needed.
Seeing Andy from the Washington GM pool was fun again, as was getting to play through SWAT as a PC and the Special as the GM with him. You earned that 5th star man!
To Thursty! Thanks for coming over and giving me a "talking to", I needed that. ;-)
Tineke, I have no idea how you survived running two tables of House of Harmonious Wisdom. But you absolutely deserved earning that 6th star, and I'm proud to have sat through your official 150th table. You're my favorite new person from the con. Therry too, it was a pleasure meeting and getting to hang out with you as well.
David Montgomery, you get a special kudos for not only issuing my favorite phrase for the weekend, "that's one for the cock and one for the lips", but also putting up with shenanigans with a good spirit. I can't think of a lot of GMs that would do that with the poise you did. You and Kevin Willis (who had to handle it as the sixth at the table) both get thumbs up for that.
Lasty, as surprising as it may be, planning at least a little time around ensuring that Jon got on a plane Tuesday morning was another highlight. I have no idea how you stayed awake for 46 hours. I know bourbon and meat can do things, but that was pretty impressive.
Until next year. Where you all get to see my glowering mug all over again!
Sleep for a week, don't mind if I do.

Ha, I'm an idiot. Saw "James Jacobs" in the Seattle airport lounge, but too shy to approach him. Some poor guy must have thought I was very weird.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. After all he was totally failing at being James Jacobs; if you can't be James Jacobs properly, why should anyone be bothered with what you think?

My game of Refugees of the Weary Sky, where a disparate group of highly specialized yahoos very quickly merged into a team of total scenario steam-rolling (a 67 Disable Device check?!? Yeah, we did that)
Surviving the delve's 20 minute timer due to being panicked the whole time, and deciding Valeros was actually the caterer for the dungeon's monsters, hiring new adventurers to "join" him, then bolting when they became food
Enjoying panels, though not nearly as many as I should have attended. The Care and Feeding of Gamers was particularly insightful and the Society Q&A amped my interest in the coming season even further
Bumping into Landon Winkler, and being introduced as "Landon, meet Landon". Not something that happens often to either of us, haha.
And last but not least, my post-con game with Tineke, Andrew Hoskins and some of the Minnesota crew. Words fail me at trying to sum up how that went, but hilarious and insane would be understatements. (And having Jon recognize me from an off-hand in-joke two years ago was weirdly gratifying.)
And now I finally know Floater's name.

Been bouncing around MoPOP all afternoon, getting our nerd on. Proved nerd cred by buying the Weyland-Yutani Corp, although the expendable red shirt came close.
All that is left, is getting the in-check done, pack the bags, drink whatever the Minnesota crew bequeathed us (or make some hobo very lucky), eat all the candy (or hobo it). Hypnotise myself into a model citizen and than it's off to the nether nether lands tomorrow, to get grilled the coming monday and wednesday by the dutch pfs crew.

So. We are packing up. Now that paizocon is really going to be over. I feel sad.
Because holy macaroni what was this an awesome experience. Most of the things I already put in the bloggery, but I'll recap here.
- Thursday it started off with my 5 star qualification game. Everyone was lovely. Special thanks to Guy Martele overseeing the game.
- GMing three slots in the banquet hall. My voice still has not recovered, but it was worth it. Getting strangers showing up dependent on my to make it amazing... pfew, it was a little bit intimidated. But it all went well.
- Getting people addicted to stroopwafels
- Getting people addicted to dutch licorice
- Planscape/metal gear solid crossover. It was awesome
- Paint and take. Such a wonderfull zen moment
- Pouncing on paizo employees. They always made a moment to talk to me. You are all amazing
- Getting invited to talk on a panel. I felt incredibly honored and I hope it helped people out. Special thanks to Judy.
- Trivia contest! So exiting! So funny! The infrared pseudodragons will rise again!
- We be leshies
And most importantly meeting all these lovely people.
- Hilary: I was so exited to meet you I nearly skipped over to the front desk when you told me you were there. It was amazing meeting you. And I loved that I got to GM for you and you for me!
- Bret. I'm afraid the force of hilary and me might have let you by the side at some times, but you are an incredibly chill dude. It was great meeting you
- Crazy drunk minnesota crew. Silberg, Leg'o lamb, Serisan, MrSlanky, the dude I keep confusing for Silberg and the other way around. You're all crazy. And wonderfull. And I hate you all.
- Adrew Hoskins. OMG. You are insane and wonderfull. Randomly hugging you gave me a lot of needed energy. I loved hanging around you and getting up to shenanigans with you.
- Rnop. Double whammy. Not only did I get to meet you, but also got to play an awesome game with you. Thank you for enabeling my murderhoboing.
- And all the others. Judy, Pirate Rob, Majuba, Cosmo, Remco Troost, and all the others I am forgetting. It. Was. Awesome.

Just made it home from my first PaizoCon. I had the pleasure to play at Tineke's confirmation table, and truly enjoyed meeting and playing with all involved.
A few of the amazing people I met from these boards include: Tineke, Terry(Hawkshaw), Hilary(Hmm), Kevin Willis, Bret Indrelee, Andrew Hoskins, Guy Martelle, Rob Knop, and Kate Baker.... and that was just Thursday night!
I had a blast playing lots of Kobold adventures with Tyler Beck. May he receive all the blessings of Aspu.
The Starfinder Delve was a lot of fun, and I am more excited than ever for the game to release! I ran it four times throughout the day in order to try all the available pre-gens. Thanks to James Sutter, John Compton, Amanda Hammon Kunz, and Logan Bonner for making it such a great experience.
Mark Seifter stopped by several of my tables to comment, and seemed like a really great guy. By the way Mark the Balrog(and friends) dominated that encounter.
Thanks to Majuba for the Goblin Brain, and Jon Denning for enhancing my table of Solstice Scar with his paper crane.
But I think the greatest thing I saw at the Con was Andrew Hoskins trolling Terry during House of Harmonious Wisdom. The look on Terry's face was priceless!!!

Thing was, I was kinda worried any GM would ask to show my credentials and check if my entire character administration would pass muster. So I spend the entire Thursday morning checking everything, checking if everything was correct at the paizo site, and that the characters were loaded into my Ipad, since the wifi was faith based.
And here I return from a bio break, and Andrew changed my slayer into a aristocrat, and my brain went into:"I am Le Screwed" mode.
