Is there a way to make a cleric who can cast Form of the Dragon 3?

Advice

I was thinking of a dragon worshipping Cleric type build and one of the hallmarks i think such a cleric would want to achieve is transforming into a huge dragon. Unfortunately I can't seem to find away to do it.

It's called Miracle you can cast FotD2

Or UDM and get a scroll of it

Dragon Staff gets you FotD2 as well.

Scarab Sages

A kobold oracle with scaled disciple could, by using oracle as the entrance to Dragon Diciple.

Greater Eldritch Heritage (Arcane) is what you are looking for.

Four feats though to get it at level 19 though....

Skill focus (Your choice)
Eldritch Heritage
Imp. Eldritch Heritage
Gr. Eldritch Heritage

You would need to take Gr. Eldritch Heritage as your level 19 feat. This would make you an effective level 19 sorcerer. Pick up "New Arcana" as your level 9 bloodline pick and you get 3 sor/wiz spells added to your list at a level you can cast.

Samsaran can take Form of the Exotic Dragon from the Druid list

Oracles get it anyway just from the Dragon Mystery

Dragon Robe will get it once per day when you are level 18, otherwise I guess you can "get it" via the two domains that grant Shapechange.

Nah, this got FAQ'd to not work. New Arcana will add to your spells known, but not to your spell list.

Dreamed secrets can add Form of the Dragon 3 to you spell list, but you have to worship a great old one.

Just take the Animal or Scalykind domain. You get shapechange as your 9th level domain spell, which has FotD III as one of the options. You'll only get it 1/day, but it lasts 10 minutes/level, and you can always make scrolls of it.

This seems like the best and most realistic response.

Another alternative might be to flavour a Shaman in the vein of what you're looking for, as they also get Shapechange as a 9th level spell. A Flame or Wind spirit Shaman might be a good fit, conceptually.

The Scalykind domain is made for this, and grants shapechange. Take the Dragon subdomain for more dragon-y stuff.

A dip of 2+ levels in the Pathfinder Savant prestige class at the right point is one way to add any spell to your class spell list. Form of the Dragon III would be a 9th level spell for you (+1 to level of 8 in original class), so you would be able to gain access to this spell at 18th character level (Cleric 16/Pathfinder Savant 2, with effective Cleric casting level of 17).

thanks guys
