Charging Flying Animal companions

Advice

Grand Lodge

Do flying animal companions have to follow the same rules for charging as a normal land bond creature?

Liberty's Edge

I believe charging works the same, with the same requirements, such as needing at least ten feet of movement, having to move in a straight line, and not having anything in your way. Unlike land based charging, you should be able to charge in any direction though, including straight up or diagonally.

Flying have more options for oblique charges if your GM doesn't restrict you to more restritive language on "directly toward" that dictionary definitions.

The rules for charging are the same regardless of whether you fly or have terrestrial movement.

That said, some GMs take more lose or restrictive interpretations of the charge rules.
