Out of Anarchy as well. That's pretty much a module condensed down into 4-5 hours.

Top 5 beginner scenarios:
1. The Beggar's Pearl (that scenario is only really creepy on low tier)
2. The Wounded Wisp (to get that PFS background)
3. First Steps Part 1 (to get to know the VCs more)
4. Mists of Mwangi (to get to know the Blakros museum)
5. Dead Man's Debt (no real bells and whistles, but definitely not boring either)

1. Captive in Crystal (Kreighton Shane being himself)
2. Elven Entanglement (Aram Zey really being himself)
3. AfI 2: All the Gods Beyond ("Oh, the sacrifices I make.")
4. Consortium Compact (just because I like seeing Ambrus Valsin suffer)
5. Captive in Crystal again (because Abs is such a great NPC and it's practically a mid-scenario briefing)

Edit: for a not-cheating 5th, probably Overflow Archives. I really enjoy the Shane + Zarta briefings.
