Character built around in combat maneuver?

Advice

Looking for some imputs for a small race character focused on maneuvers (Reach, AoO, Bull Rush, Trip or whatever), any ideas?

Thank you guys!

Small tends to be bad Idea for Combat Maneuvers Due to Size and Str Negatives. IF you go DEX builds it is very Feat intensive.

Best Combat Maneuver would probably be Dirty Trick.

Now A Vexing Dodger is amazing for Small characters to climb up a larger enemy and deliver a beat-down.

Thanks for the answer, wow that was fast xD!
Can you link it please?

EDIT: to avoid those issues i can go tiefling or aasimar and just appear like a small race, without suffering of those negatives no?

Vexing Dodger

I can not answer that question as I am not your GM.

You could be Medium and be a Vexing Dodger, but a Small character can Climb a Medium Enemy. If you are Medium then you only can do it on Large+

Vexing Dodger also Gives you Improved Dirty Trick.

This is easy: Swashbuckler. Targeted Strike. As long as you hit, they automatically drop something they're holding or you do damage and automatically trip them. If you want to go small, the Mouser archetype isn't bad

If you want ranged a Gunslinger can do the same thing.

Funny you should ask, I just posted about a Dirty Trick Ninja build and commented on how I would use it with a Halfling. Someone on the same thread mentioned an interesting Gnome Racial Trait or Feat or something. Click on my link.

Silver Crusade

A ratfolk kensai magus would be one possibility (perhaps using a whip?). Using spell combat you can cast True Strike and then attack for a net +18 to your combat maneuver.

Will the character have an existance outside of combat once you come up with kill concept?

Especially easy to use with the wand wielder arcana and a wand of true strike. Wand use doesn't trigger AoOs.

Swashbuckler seems interesting, does it work well with small races?
About magus i've not really understood that class yet, seems like some kind of a blaster using melee weapons, nothing special.

That's the default magus, yes. You can adjust it by focusing on something different (e.g. combat maneuvers) and/or by using archetypes.

Yeah swashbuckler or lore warden fighter for sure.

halfling (mouser) Swashbuckler focuses on dirty trick and maybe steal, uses targeted strike for disarms and trips and Hamstring + targeting for prone plus staggered. Alternately you could ditch maybe steal and go definitely feint then go into devoted muse which gives you back parry and riposte and adds a bunch of obnoxious miss chance and status effects to your feint, and also gain CHA to AC.

I posted a build a bit ago that involved a Lore Warden (though it could also be another type of Fighter really) using a rapier to make Dirty Trick attacks, with the idea that it's a Shock rapier and he's sticking the crackling electricity from his blade into the target's face. Quick Dirty Trick is very good, and if you can use a two-weapon Fighter build with Quick Dirty Trick so much the better - with two weapons, you give up a lot less to use your Quick maneuver feats.
