Hey everyone!
The Philadelphia Pathfinder Society Lodge contacted PFS HQ and the PAX Unplugged team after seeing the many threads on the question of PFS at PAX Unplugged, and we managed to scrounge together a few tables of events for attendees! (Don't thank me, I'm just the messanger: Venture-Captain Benn Roe and soon-to-be-Venture-Agent Robyn Allen did all of the real work putting this together.)
I don't quite know all of the details, but from what I understand PAX is putting a lot of pressure on Benn and Robyn to make sure we have games at all of the tables they've given us, so if you sign up for something the team REALLY needs you to make sure that you show up to your table on time!
If you have any questions and you're on Facebook, you can either PM them t me here, or send them to me on our Facebook Group and I'll do everything I can to get you any additional information that you're looking for.
Thanks!
Venture-Agent Alex Augunas (Philadelphia)
Also, we now have convention support for any of you potential GMs out there :D

Glad to see you could get some things together, but sad there is no card game/guild. I don't play the RPG, so I will just have to hope for next year. Hope everyone has fun.
Sorry to hear that. CORE campaign and the ACG aren’t very popular here, so we were unable to get anyone to run them at a capacity we thought visitors to PAX Unplugged deserved. Hopefully next year!

This being the case, I'm a bit confused by the offering of SFs 1-06 despite it not being released until 2 weeks after the con. I can't imagine a table of an unreleased scenerio is going to go off unless I'm missing something.

If the tables end up looking light, and either I notice or you post a message, I think I'd be able to offer the card game at a few different times if you wanted. Cartmanbeck might be able to do the same.
I know you announced Solstice Scar as the special, but if you wanted to run Assault on Absalom I'd be willing to run the card guild portion (and again, CMB might do likewise). If you thought that might fill more seats.
I'm happy to help if needed or wanted. But totally understand your position for not offering the card game initially, and totally understand if you just want to stick with that.

The disappointment posted on this boards led to discussions between involved parties and has resulted in Venture-Captain Benn being given a few tables for full scenario play. He will be setting up a warhorn page soon.
We really have Venture Agent-Incumbent Robyn Allen (she's eagerly awaiting the honor) to thank for it, actually. No one in the region pushed as hard as she did for games at PAX Unplugged, to the point where she personally reached out to PAX Plugged's organizers about getting our lodge tables. If it wasn't for her initiative, I don't think we would have gotten any tables at the Con beyond what Paizo was allowed for demos.

I'll be sure to thank her for making this happen. I've been telling people she should be a venture officer for a long while now and it's great news she finally is!

I *think* she’s been waiting for someone to get her the NDA and agreement documents before she is officially a VA, but I agree! We should have made her a VA years ago.

Thanks guys :)
An update on Pax Unplugged. We have more table space available now and have expanded the schedule. This of course means we could use a few more GMs. So if you are interested in volunteering your time, we would love to see you there.
We can get scenarios to GMs the week before and we will have chronicle sheets printed for GMs at the convention.
Here is the pre-registration link again

Also, thank you Shaudius, for pointing out the SFS error. We will be offering a second table of SFS 1-05 instead of 1-06.

FYI -- I see from the PAX Unplugged site that the availability of 3-day and Saturday tickets is "Low". Friday, Sunday, and Kids tickets are still listed as "Available".
I thought I had updated this but -- Saturday tickets are sold out. Availability of other tickets remains as given above.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone at Redcap's who were able make PFS happen at PAX-U, special shout-out to Robyn, Tim and Benn for going above and beyond. I know it wasn't easy to get everything done last minute and I really appreciate them (and everyone else who helped out) stepping up and making it happen. Hopefully given the success and obvious demand of this year Paizo will become more involved at PAX-U 2018 so PFS can have a larger and more organized presence, something akin to what's done at GenCon perhaps.

It was really excellent. There were a crazy number of vendors, a huge free play area, and I was overwhelmed but in a good way. Saturday was a bit over-crowded, but that's pretty typical of large conventions. I got to play Thornwatch with Mike Selinker, which was pretty awesome. Definitely planning to go back next year if they have it again in Philly.

I thought it was very good also, haven't been to many conventions so don't really have a basis for comparison, but I thought it had a lot to offer with the Vendors, Boardgame\RPG Freeplay, Panels, etc. If I could change anything next year I'd say it'd be nice to have a more organized\larger RP area. There were definitely more people than there were tables for RP, whereas Boardgaming it appeared about right size wise. I definitely expect next year to be bigger based on the success of this year, really nice to have something in Philly for once! :-)

I enjoyed the convention, but because I came at the last minute (on Sunday) and didn't have much patience to wait in line, I didn't get into any of the game demos. However, the expo hall/dealer's room alone was worth the price of admission.
Now that I have a better idea what to expect, I may actually make a point of signing up for a game or two in advance next year.
