In addition to gaining a warpriest blessing from their deity, the Temple Champion paladin also gains access to a cleric domain, which their blessing has to match. Can Temple Champions select a subdomain their deity grants access to, with their blessing matching the subdomain's base domain (like, for example, taking the Rage subdomain and gaining the Destruction blessing), or is the Temple Champion limited to the base domains that have a matching warpriest blessing (meaning in the aforementioned example, the Temple Champion can ONLY take the Destruction domain)?

"Subdomains are treated as equivalent to their associated
domain for any effect or prerequisite based on domains."

Yes, you can take a subdomain as long as the domain it is associated
with matches the Blessing.
