Bypassing Fire Resistance

Advice

Okay, so I need a way for a cleric of sarenrae to bypass fire resistance, whether it's a feat or a Hierophant mythic ability I'm not aware of.

If none of these options exist, can you help me create a feat(s) that my player can take that won't be to overpowered too quickly? He is playing an Aasimar cleric of sarenrae with the fire and good domains.

I'd recommend using the Searing Spell Metamagic from the 3.5 book Sandstorm. The gist of the feat (which you can quite easily find the full text of with some searching) is a +1 level metamagic that lets the [Fire] spell it's applied to ignore fire resistance and treat fire immunity as a 50% reduction instead of a 100% reduction. It also doubles damage dealt to any creature with the Cold subtype, but that part's secondary.

Best way in-Pathfinder is to swap up elemental types with Elemental Spell.

Searing Spell is pretty awesome though, and really not imbalanced when you compare it to what the Admixture Wizard can do.

Silver Crusade

Use your [Fire] spells on foes lacking fire resistance. If the foe has [Fire] resistance then cast a Summon Monster spell instead. Instead of trying to go through fire resistance go around it.
